Zaful Embroidered Skirt

Zaful Embroidered Skirt Seize your Style!

As I have mentioned in one of my previous posts, I had recently received some great items from Zaful because I'm currently collaborating with this store. I was still owing you two more pieces I have got from them, which I have to say I'm totally in love with!!

Zaful Embroidered Skirt Seize your Style 2

The first one and this is definitely my favorite of all, is this gorgeous Mini Floral Embroidered Flare Skirt. I can't tell you how much in love with this skirt I am because it's such a statement piece that I'm absolutely sure will elevate any outfit!
I got it in a size M and it fits me perfectly. It looks exactly like it was on the website and the embroidered details look amazing! I'm very surprised at the quality of this garment.

So, I'm more than excited to show you how I have styled it! As the skirt was going to be the main focus of this outfit, I have decided to wear it with some basics, such as a plain white t-shirt from H&M, these gorgeous black sandals also from H&M and a nice bag from Carpisa. I really love how everything looked together and I can't wait to wear this skirt again!

On the other hand, I have also received the Frayed Hem Floral Embroidered Ripped Shorts, which I'm also very satisfied with. I got them in the size M and they also fit perfectly. They are white denim shorts and I really like the quality of the fabric. As you can see I'm a little bit obsessed with embroidered details so I totally fell in love when I saw the flower details in these shorts. I think it looks super cute and perfect for the summer!

I didn't have the chance to wear these lovely shorts but I think I would style them with a basic dark grey, black or green tank top, and some cute sandals.

I really hope you like them and please let me know which item is your favorite? :)

My Hair Routine 2018

The beginning of a new year is the best moment to set up new routines. We are in the mood for change and for a fresh start. So we try to create a new healthy food routine, a new workout and exercise routine and we also do the same thing with our beauty, skincare and hair routine.
So, I thought it was a great idea to show you all the products I'm currently using on my hair as well as my hair care routine. Some of these products I have already mentioned here on the blog because they are incredible and I have been using them throughout last year and some of them are completely new.
Without further do, let's begin!

Shampoo & Conditioner:

For my shampoo and conditioner, I normally like to alternate different products because I have the feeling that if I use the same products all the time, it's like my hair gets used to them and then it doesn't respond to their properties. I would really love to know if that is something that you also do, or if it's just my idea and it doesn't have any kind of logic at all haha :P
At the moment, I'm using the Kiehl's Amino Acid Shampoo and Conditioner because I tried them once with a sample and they did magic to my hair. They are extremely gentle with my hair and they have some amazing ingredients, such as pure coconut and jojoba oils, which helps a lot to moisturize and strengthen the hair. This line of products is suitable for all hair types and it's silicone-free and paraben-free.
They are a bit pricey for a shampoo and conditioner but I think they are very high quality and they give very good results.

On the other hand, when I don't use the Kiehl's products, I'm using the Garnier Fructis Oil Repair 3 Shampoo, which I just recently bought and the OGX Kukuí Oil Conditioner. Both of them are full of natural oils, including olive, avocado and argan oils, which help to repair, nourish and smooth the hair.
The OGX Conditioner I bought it while I was traveling so once I run out of this product I won't be able to buy it again but I guess I will probably buy the Conditioner from the same Garnier line because I'm very satisfied with their shampoo and it's also very affordable.

Hair Mask:

Twice a week I normally apply a hair mask because I have a very dry and frizzy hair and I tend to use a lot of styling tools to make it look something neat. So, to try to restore my hair a little bit from all the heat of those tools, I use the Salon Essentials Smart Therapy Substance Caviar Repair Mask.
This mask is designed for very fragile and dry hair and it helps to repair, nourish and protect it. This product is enriched with caviar extract and I have been using this mask for the last 5 months. Every time I apply it, I notice that my hair looks healthier, softer and it has a lot more shine.

Serum:

After I finished washing my hair and everything I normally apply a little bit of serum to my hair. I apply it all the time, especially when I need to style it with my hair straightener or any other tool so that it has some kind of protection against the heat.
At the moment, I'm using the Kiehl's Smoothing Oil-Infused Leave-In Concentrate, which I received as a birthday present from my friends and I can't stop telling you how much I love this product!!
It contains Argan and Babassu oils (by the way, I have no idea what exactly is Babassu but it sounds very nourishing haha), it's paraben free and it's designed especially for dry and frizzy hair, which is exactly my type of hair.
This concentrate works as a nourishing and smoothing treatment if you apply it to damp hair and it also helps you with the styling. But also you can apply it to dry hair to give you extra softness and shine. I use it both ways, all the time when my hair is still wet and in case I feel like I need it, I apply it also when my hair is dry.

Overnight Treatment:

This is an extra step that I have included in my hair routine last year. I loved the idea of overnight treatment products that you apply before going to bed and that they work their magic while you are sleeping, so when I saw this product from L'Occitane I knew I have to try it! It's called Overnight Repairing Concentrate and it has 5 essential oils: Ylang Ylang, Sweet Orange, Lavander (my favorite), Geranium and Angelica.  There is no way that my hair doesn't benefit from this product, it only has good natural stuff in it!
So, I just apply 1 pump of it to my hair before going to bed, I try to distribute it through my lengths and that's all!! This concentrate will restore the hair fiber and reduce split ends while you are sleeping.

That's it for my hair routine!! Hope it was useful and let me know what do you think about these products? Is there any of them that you are currently using? Also, if you have any product recommendations I would love to know because there is nothing I enjoy more than to discover new hair products! ;)

Off the Shoulder Top from Zaful

Zaful Striped Off The Shoulder Top

Some months ago, I have started to collaborate with Zaful and I was very excited about showing you the new items I have received from them this time! :)
In this post, I would like to show you one of my favorite pieces, which is this puff sleeve striped blouse with choker. I have mentioned before how obsessed I am with this trend because I think it looks very feminine and chic. Also, I love stripes so this top looked like the perfect thing for me!

Zaful Striped Off The Shoulder Top 2

I got this top in a size S and I have to say that the sizing was perfect! I was actually worried that it may be a little bit short but this top has the perfect length. I'm also very surprised at the quality of the fabric, it's very soft and it's not transparent at all.
The top comes with a choker made of the same fabric that really complements it. I think this detail really adds a plus to the garment because you can wear it both ways, with the choker or without it and that way you can get two different looks ;)

Zaful Striped Off The Shoulder Top 3

I paired this top with some distressed denim jeans from Zara, my favorite nude loafers from H&M and a bag with a similar nude color from XL to create a very summery and girly look.

Zaful Striped Off The Shoulder Top 4

In addition, I got two necklaces from the site. The first one is this Rhinestone moon leaf pendant layered necklace that I'm wearing on this outfit and I'm so in love with it because it looks like I have stacked my jewelry perfectly but it's all just one necklace. I also love that it has that kind of astral theme with those little half moons. It looks lovely!

Zaful Necklace

The other necklace I got from Zaful was supposed to be the Alloy feather pendant necklace but unfortunately, they didn't send me that. When I opened the package, there was only a part of the gold chain and no feathers. I'm going to include the picture of the necklace from the website and what I got in the mail for you to see the difference.

It was a bit disappointing to me because I was having a great experience with this website and this was the first time I didn't receive exactly what I have ordered. Also, I felt a little sad because all the other items were great and came in perfect condition but I have to share with you my complete experience, with the good and the bad things.

I have also received two more items which I'm dying to show you but they will be featured in a future post, so stay tuned;) Hope you like this outfit and let me know your thoughts on the top and the necklace :)

Fabulous Places to help you escape from the winter of Northern Hemisphere

The winter chill has set in and as soon as Christmas is over, January will descend with its barrage of cold mornings, diet and exercise and all those other hard to face things! So why not escape and get some winter sun! Just what you need to forget about the dreary dark days of home and rejuvenate yourself and return ready for the New Year ahead!

There are so many amazing places to visit and you can find exactly what you are looking for…whether it is a quiet, beach life, relaxing holiday or a bustling city break…the world is literally your oyster.

For the more relaxing vibe, you can’t go wrong with a trip to Reunion Island. Situated in the Indian Ocean, this is not your average tropical island destination. This unique island is paradise on earth offering over 17 miles of warm welcoming beaches, the perfect destination if you are looking to kick back and totally chill out. A true gem.

There are also, of course, all the amazing forests and enclaves dotted throughout the island. You can go rock climbing, diving, snorkeling, taking a helicopter to discover the splendid sight of volcanoes, or meditating in early-morning light on the beach, getting some massage... you name it, it’s on offer. A perfect spot to brush off the cobwebs and rejuvenate.

What to pack:
Maintain a relaxed vibe with flowy chiffon dresses, cute swimwear, and pretty sandals to adorn your laid-back feet!

Now for something completely different! One of the most exciting and vibrant cities in the world: Bangkok. This is not for the faint hearted and is a world away from Reunion Island! Bustling streets full of people, cars, markets, noise!

This holiday will be full of excitement and is a total feast for the senses. There is so much to see and do in this amazing city and the food, shopping and the sights are just incomparable. You will find yourself emerged in the fantastic Asian culture and the people are as friendly as they are busy. A wondrous adventure awaits you!

Whether you wish to spend your days traveling through the markets picking up amazing materials or trying out different foods, or choose to visit the amazing temples and ancient buildings, you are sure to enjoy your trip to this eastern paradise.

What to pack:
It’s HOT here, so loose clothes work best, maybe a floral silk dress, make sure to bring a comfy pair of shoes for walking and of course a bag for all your new purchases!

Happy Travels!

My New Year Resolutions for 2018!

New Year Resolutions

I remember doing this post back at the beginning at 2017 and it was the first time I was writing my New Year resolutions. I can say now that I was able to keep them throughout the year.
The resolutions I made last year were quite general and easy to follow on a day to day basis and I think about doing the same this year.

New Year Resolutions 2

So for 2018, I have made 3 main resolutions:

1- To keep improving my physical and mental health

During last year I had a few health issues, some of them were physical and some of them were related to some anxiety I was developing but, in these last few months, I took the time to visit a doctor to make sure that everything was OK. I'm also going to therapy so in 2018 I'm going to keep working on my health because I really want to feel my best. My plan is to incorporate more meditation into my routine because I feel like it's going to help me a lot, at least I would like to try to do it some minutes every day. This was also another thing that started last year that I definitely want to keep in 2018 and do more of it!

2- To dedicate more time to my personal relationships

In 2018, I want to focus on developing good relationships with my friends and family and I have learned that the best way to improve them is by dedicating time to the people who are important in your life. Take the time to listen to them, to talk with them, to share your thoughts and feelings with them are the things that will improve the relationship and make it stronger. I'm really working on opening myself more to others and to show my vulnerable side as well. It may seem very scary but it is what really makes you connect with others.

3- To keep learning new things

Last year I had the opportunity to continue with a language course so one of my main goals for 2018 is to keep learning and practicing this! I have also started a course to teach Spanish language to foreigners that I really need to finish this year and  I would like to take on some new courses to help me gain more skills, like photography, maybe something related to Photoshop or Illustrator, SEO, etc. I love learning new things so this is a goal that really motivates me!

What about you? Are you making any New Year Resolutions for 2018? I would really love to know! :)

Happy New Year!!!

2018 is finally here!!! I wanted to make a quick post today to wish you all a great start of the New Year! I hope you had a lovely time with your family and friends!! In my case, I have spent New Year's Eve at home again with my parents and also my brother came to visit with his wife, so we were a few more this time! I always stay at home because I have a dog that is very afraid of the fireworks so I try to take care of her.

Anyway, I also wanted to show you what I wore for NYE, this time I decided to try something new. I have always heard about this tradition of wearing white for this occasion and I thought it was a great idea for my outfit! Apparently, the idea is to wear white to attract positive things in the year that is coming. I have no idea if this is true or not but it's a nice idea so I gave it a shot!

I wore my white denim jeans from Zara, with a white top from H&M, and on my feet, I decided to give the outfit a pop of color and something more fun with these pompom sandals I bought in Serbia back in 2016.

I hope you like this outfit and please let me know if you were doing this tradition also? or if you have heard about it.
