My 2018 Travel Bucket List

Travel Bucket List Seize your Style

We are already in February!! I think this is the perfect moment to start dreaming about the places I would like to visit this year so I thought it was a great idea to share my travel bucket list for 2018!
I wrote one of these posts before and I really enjoyed it because it's a great way to reflect on what are the most important reasons that make me want to visit a certain place. Some of them are because of their culture, or because of their landscapes, their beaches or even shopping opportunities. Any reason is good to visit a new city and continue traveling!
So without further talking, here are my top 5 cities on my travel bucket list for 2018:

1- Amsterdam, Netherlands

This is a place I was sure I would visit one day and I think the time has come and it's more related to personal reasons. Basically one of my best friends is moving today to the Netherlands so Amsterdam is my number one travel priority this year because I'm dying to go visit her!
Also, the city itself is completely stunning, I really love the look of the canals and I dream about seeing them and walking around or maybe cycling around town too!
I feel like there are endless option to enjoy this incredible city, so I'm really hoping I can get the opportunity to do this trip :)

2- Petra, Jordan

I have been obsessed with Petra for like two years now! This place looks absolutely incredible! I have seen so many great pictures of it on Instagram and it drives me crazy! It's like traveling to a completely different time and space.
Also, I like that it's a little bit more on the adventure side and I'm sure it would make you feel like Indiana Jones to explore a place like this one! Hope I can do this trip someday! :)

3- Budva, Montenegro

This is one of my biggest travel debts! During my first trip to the Balkans I was only able to visit Montenegro for a day and even though I feel extremely happy and grateful that I was able to see a sneak peek of this beautiful country, I know I'm owing myself another trip here to see more!
Budva is THE place to be during summer in Montenegro because it has some amazingly beautiful beaches that I'm dying to explore someday.

4- Milan, Italy

I think this is a great destination for any fashion lover like me because I'm sure you can get tons of inspiration from their streets! Also, I have seen so many incredible pictures from the top of the Duomo, the structure looks completely insane and I would love to see it in person!
Plus, enjoying some authentic Italian pizza and gelato is always a good idea! ;)

5- Makarska, Croatia

Last but not the least, it was impossible for me not to include something from Croatia. No matter how many trips I do to this country I always feel like there is a city, a beach or an island that I need to visit. And among all the options available this year I would love to visit Makarska because, whenever I see a photo of some incredibly stunning mountains with the most beautiful crystal clear water on Instagram, it's always Makarska.

Argentina Travel Bucket List

I think it is time already for me to share a travel bucket list from my own country! I know I have been choosing to travel overseas in the last opportunities but that doesn’t mean that there are no interesting places to visit in Argentina. It’s quite the opposite actually, there are tons of incredible places that I really want to visit soon.
Argentina is a very large and diverse country, you can get almost any kind of landscape you want to see here, from the coast of the Atlantic Ocean to the mountains of La Cordillera de Los Andes, you have forest, jungles, waterfalls, and of course the classic Pampa Humeda, with endless green fields.
So, for today’s post, I would like to show what the top places from Argentina that are currently on my travel bucket list. Let’s start!

Iguazu Waterfalls

This has to be my number one travel destination for sure. I have mentioned it before here on the blog, I totally love waterfalls. Wherever there is a waterfall in a country I’m visiting I have to go see it. So, it’s so funny that having the Iguazu Waterfalls very close to the place I live, I still haven’t seen them. They are considered one of the world’s seven wonders and I can understand why! They are massive and very impressive!!! In addition, Iguazu Waterfalls also offers a lot to see in regards to animal species and jungle environment. So this is, without a doubt a very interesting place to visit!

Perito Moreno Glacier

This is another place that I can’t understand how come I haven’t visited yet! This glacier is located in the southern part of Argentina right by the mountains and close to the border with Chile. Not only you can see a great glacier formation but also the whole landscape is beyond beautiful with the mountains and the forest. It really looks like a very quiet and peaceful place. I have also heard recently that this is the biggest glacier in the world that you can appreciate from a very close point. But what is even better is that you can actually book a tour to walk on the glacier!! Imagine how cool that must be! I really would love to try it!

Salinas Grandes

Going to the northern part of Argentina, the landscape varies a lot! We say goodbye to the green landscapes full of trees and rivers and we go to an almost different world. Dryer but not because of that less interesting. The mountains turn from green to red and other different colors because of the minerals they have and the vegetation becomes less frequent. In the middle of this region, you can find an incredible place: The Salinas. A huge extensión of salt, it’s like a desert but instead of having sand all around you have salt, which has the most incredible White color. I can’t tell you how many amazing pictures I have seen from this place. So, that’s why I wanted to include it on my bucket list, you should definitely google it!

Ushuaia

Last but not the least I want to include Ushuaia, the city at the end of the world! How crazy must feel to be so close to the Antartic. Not only because of that, this city has many interesting things to see, you can also go by boat to see the Beagle channel, you also have mountains to practice some ski and the landscape I’m sure won’t disappoint anyone because it’s so impressive.

Well, these are my top spots to visit in Argentina, I hope you like them and please let me know if you have a travel bucket list from your own country. Also, I would love to know if you plan to visit Argentina someday.

My Travel Bucket List

Last year I was able to do two beautiful trips and I'm very thankful about that. I really enjoyed the experience and also it made me realise that it wasn't so difficult or expensive to plan a good trip. One of the main reasons why I didn't travel that much before was because I thought I needed a lot of money, which wasn't completely true. I mean, it's a fact a propper amount of money is required but planning a trip in advance helps you a lot to organize your finances and it makes it completely possible. So, one of my goals for this year was to keep travelling and as I mentioned in one of my previous post I already have a great plan for June but in this post I want to share with you the other places I would like to travel to someday in the future :)

Saint Petersburg - Russia

There are many places I want to know because of the books I have read and Saint Petersburg is one of them. Some years ago I read The Bronze Horseman, which is a beautiful novel about a forbidden love in this city in the times of WW2 and the descriptions that the author does in this book are amaizing and when I looked for the places she mentions on Google I realized that I really need to go this place. Hopefully next year :)

Cordoba and Granada - Spain

I'm very into arabic culture and architecture so these two places are a must for me. I still don't understand why I went to Spain last year and didn't include these places but now I have a very good reason to go back ;)

Marrakech - Morocco

Also related to my arabic culture obsession, Marrakech is also another beautiful place I would love to travel to. In addition, I would really love to see the desert so hopefully someday I will be able to go.

Cartagena - Colombia

The old town in Cartagena is really stunning and plus there are some very beautiful and incredible beaches around, like for example in Tayrona Park. This is one of the places I have been wanting to go for the longest time so I really hope I can go in the near future.

Hope I have given you some travel inspiration and I would love to know which places are in your travel bucket list! :)
