Rosegal Haul

Rosegal Haul

Today I have a little haul from Rosegal to share with you! As you already know I have been collaborating with this site since last year so here are some new pieces they have sent me for review.

I will start with this beautiful Lace Long Sleeves Dress which I really like! I wanted a lace dress like this one for quite a long time. I love the sapphire blue color because I find it very elegant and flattering.
I got this dress in the size M and it fits me perfectly! The lace fabric looks very good too so I'm super happy with the overall quality of this dress. I'm not so sure when I will be able to wear it yet, but if I have any special occasion in the future, this will be the dress I choose.

Then I picked another dress because I realized that I didn't have as many nice dresses in my wardrobe. This Off The Shoulder Flounce Denim Dress looked really pretty on the website and as I'm loving anything off-the-shoulder lately I ordered. However, when I tried it on, I realized it was a little bit big for me. I got this dress in the size M because it was the smallest available but I find it quite wide and a little bit too long for me.
Anyway, I think I can make it work by adding a belt because I think this is a very nice casual dress for Spring-Summer.

Rosegal Off the Shoulder Dress

The third piece of clothing I selected was this Casual V-Neck Solid Color Long Sleeves Pullover Sweater. I really loved the color of this sweater, it's like a mix of pink and lilac that I think would look very pretty with white or some light blue denim jeans. The size of this one was also M and it fits very well too. The fabric is not very thick so this sweater is perfect for this transitional weather we are having right now.

Also, this time I decided to try something new from this site, something that wasn't clothes so I ordered this Waterproof Silicone Sonic Face Cleanser Device which is very similar to the Foreo cleanser. I really love this product, I have been using it since I received it and it works perfectly! It does a great job cleaning my face and it's very gentle. It comes with its USB charger so it's super practical.

Last but not the least I have picked two accessories, the first one is this Globe Telescope Pendant Necklace, which I think looks super cute for a travel lover like me! The quality of the necklace is good and the chain looks very resistant.

Then I received this Gold Plated Diamante Heart Embellished Bracelet, which also looks very pretty. It's rose gold and the embellished details look very good quality. I like this kind of bracelets a lot lately so when I saw it on the website I knew I had to have it.

Carpisa Bags Wishlist

It's been a while since I did a wishlist especially for bags but this was a post that I had on my mind for quite a long time because it features on my favorites brands, which is Carpisa!
I have discovered this brand while I was traveling because unfortunately, I can't get their products here in Argentina.

But when I was staying in Belgrade back in 2016 I remember I was looking for an extra piece of luggage because I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to fit everything in my suitcase. A girl at the hostel recommended me to go to Carpisa because she said their luggage pieces were very high quality at a good price.

I went to their store located in Knez Mihailova and I completely fell in love with their bags! They were super affordable (I remember they were on sale at that time, which was even better) and they also had a very good quality.

Carpisa Bag with Zip

I liked many of their bags but I ended up buying a cute little crossbody bag which I now wear almost every single day and I didn't buy an extra suitcase because I was able to squeeze everything into the one I already had.

Anyway, after that first encounter with the brand, whenever I travel again I always look for their stores because as I said, I really like the quality of their items and also I find their designs very simple, nice and timeless so you can wear them season after season without any problems.

I have bought two more bags and two wallets (one was a present for my mom) and I love every piece I got from Carpisa so that's why I have decided to prepare a wishlist today, to show you my favorites from their last collection and tell you a little bit about this brand.

I hope you like this post and please let me know if you knew this brand and if you have tried any of their products. Also, if you have any other favorite brand for bags that you think I should know please let me know as well! Have a Happy Monday!! :)

New Fall Favorites from Zaful

Zaful Fall Favorites Review

I'm super excited to show you two new pieces I have received from Zaful recently and they have just become my new fall favorites!! As you know I have been collaborating with this web store so in today's post I'm going to share with you the review of the products they have sent me. Let's start!

First, I received this lovely pink sweater with pearl embellishments. I think since last year I fell in love with this trend, everything that has some sort of embellishment instantly catches my eyes and this sweater wasn't the exception!

Zaful Pink Sweater with Pearl Embellishments

I also loved the sleeve details when I saw it on the website but when I tried it on I feel like it's a little bit too much. Anyway, I still like it a lot so I'm sure I'm going to be wearing it a lot when the weather gets colder.

Zaful Pink Sweater with Pearl Embellishments Sleeve detail

In regards to the quality and size, the fabric is very good, it's made of acrylic, cotton, and polyester, it's thick and it feels very warm. The pearl embellishments are perfectly attached to the fabric so I don't feel like I'm going to lose any pearls when I start wearing it.

About the size, I wasn't very sure when I ordered it because it's one size so I was a little bit concerned that it may be too big for me but surprisingly it fits perfectly! The length goes down just to the waist and as it's supposed to be wide and bit loose-fitting, it looks great!

Then, the next item I got was this amazing pair of black ankle boots. Without a doubt, these are definitely my favorites! I love the buckle detail they have, which makes them look a lot more interesting and stylish.

Zaful Black Ankle Boots

Again, it was such a risk to order some shoes but following the size guide I didn't have any problems and they fit me perfectly! I got them in size 37 and I was very surprised when I tried them on because they fit me like a glove.

Another positive aspect of these boots is the quality! They look very high-quality even though they are not made of real leather and they also feel very comfortable and soft on the inside.

Zaful Black Ankle Boots Detail

I can already tell these are going to be my go-to shoes during the entire Fall-Winter season and I can't wait to start wearing them because I'm sure they are going to look great with any of my outfits!

So, that was all I have received from my latest collaboration with Zaful. I hope you find this review useful and I would love to hear your thoughts on these two pieces ;)

New Video: 5 Must-Have Items for Fall / Transitional Season

This week is time again for a new video! I feel like I have talked about this topic a lot on the blog but it's something I find very interesting. That is getting dressed during transitional season. It doesn't matter if you are now in Fall or Spring, finding the perfect outfit to wear during this time of the year can be very challenging but also very fun too!

I love dressing for this type of weather because I feel like you can mix both seasons and play a lot with different pieces to get very cool outfits! But I know it's very easy to fail in picking out the right look because the weather may confuse you and you could get too warm or too cold, which is never a good thing!

The best tip I could give you on how to get dressed for transitional weather is to rely on your basics! There are a few pieces that could become your best friends during this time of the year and they will help you to get a comfortable, weather appropriate and stylish look without putting too much effort.

So, without further due, here is my little video about my essentials for transitional weather and I'm also showing you some of my favorite pieces in case you would like to update your wardrobe. Also, I would love for you to check out my other videos and subscribed to my Youtube channel ;)

4 Minimalist Ways to Wear Plaid This Spring

As a trend we usually relate to the ‘90s or the early 2000s, plaid is something we’re actually really excited about this season because it presents us with a challenge. Since we usually relate this print to grungy looks and fall fashion, how on earth do we make it work for springtime? Well, there’s nothing we love more than a challenge because it can really help your personal style grow, so let’s take a look at some fashion tips from the runways and enjoy the plaid craze for the season.

Cool as a cucumber

There are two easy ways you can wear a plaid button-down: old school grunge and rocker chic. This season calls more for that too-cool-for-you, edgy, rocker vibe, and you can pull it off by layering plaid and leather. A short leather jacket coupled with a longer, unbuttoned plaid shirt, and then a black tank top underneath will look cool as hell, and you can combine this with your skinniest jeans (or hey, leather pants), and a pair of ankle boots. Be careful with distressed denim here because it might end up making the outfit look too busy, so plain denim could be a better choice. You’re looking for those really slim, curve-hugging skinny pants that elongate your legs and feel dangerously sexy.

Even people who don’t think they’re all that edgy can pull this look off because it requires some fairly simple details. Another thing that might cross your mind is studded details such as belts and collars, but we recommend that you be careful with that as well. It could push the outfit from cool and stylish into something outdated and give you that trying-too-hard vibe. We’re really trying to retain a measure of polish here, so we recommend some more elegant accessories: slim chain necklaces, wristwatches, and headbands to complement everything.

Quirky vs. high-fashion polish

Let’s talk about plaid suits, something that’s really popular this season. A plaid suit can be tough to pull off because it tends to make you look like a school librarian. And you know what; we recommend that you embrace it. Grey, beige, and light brown suits paired with ruffled shirts, Oxford shoes, and cat-rimmed glasses are cute, stylish, but they are something that’s a lot easier to pull off if your style naturally leans toward quirky and vintage

If you want to avoid that and look more polished, then don’t worry, you can definitely make a plaid suit look really high-fashion. For this to work, we recommend jewel tones and darker plaid, a big belt to cinch in your blazer, and some really, really good heels. Also? Try wearing a tie if you want that androgynous, runway vibe, and top it all off with red lipstick.

Clever dressing with accessories

Do these details feel a little too overwhelming? Don’t worry, you can just stick to plaid accessories! In fact, plaid is such a cool thing to spice up the outfit that it’s bound to make you stand out. Hair clips, scarves, headbands, tote bags, belts, and little plaid bows can take your everyday casual to something fully stylish, and we recommend that you push it further and experiment with evening wear as well.

Large, silky cover-up scarves combined with black, elegant evening dresses can give you that straight-from-the-cover-of-Vogue look. Pick a simple, unfussy cut, and then style it up with plaid accessories to really stand out from the crowd.

Gingham bombshell

We know, we know, gingham isn’t technically plaid. However, how many people know or care about that? It’s a cute print that’s also popular this season, and it’s good for those who are a little scared of plaid. Gingham dresses with off-the-shoulder sleeves are just really damn sexy and cute for spring, or you could go for a high-waisted A-line skirt, a crop top, and a denim jacket. If you’re really set on plaid, we recommend a button-down plaid dress that hugs your waist, some black pumps, and gorgeously messy, curled hair.

It’s time to take plaid out of the “oversized and grunge” box and start experimenting again. Take this print and have fun with it! It can be cool, it can be sexy, it can be anything you want if you style it right, so play around and enjoy this spring.

Monthly Favorites: March

Monthly Favorites March

Yes, we are already in a new month so it's time for another Monthly Favorites post! During the last month, I was really loving some new items I bought and I thought I would share them with you. So, let's get started right away! ;)

1- St. Ives Exotic Naturals Body Lotion/Cream

I have mentioned before that I'm not very good at maintaining a skin care routine when it comes to my body, I'm very consistent with my face but with the rest of my skin I was the worst really. I was using a shower cream which was very good and practical but last month I decided to try a new product. I'm talking about the St. Ives Exotic Naturals body lotion with coconut milk and orchid extract. I'm not going to lie, the biggest motivation for me to buy this product was the absolutely delicious scent it has! Imagine the combination of coconut and orchid, is so sweet and it stays on your skin for quite a long time.
Apart from the scent, I also love that the texture is really lightweight, it absorbs very quickly and it leaves a fresh sensation on your skin.
I have been using it non-stop since I bought it last month so it is definitely a favorite that deserves to be here.

2- Garnier Fructis Oil Repair 3 Fortifying Mask

If you remember my hair routine post, you know that I have started using the shampoo from this Garnier line and I was loving it. After trying that one and having such a good experience with it, I decided to buy some other products from the Oil Repair 3 range.
The fortifying hair mask is designed to repair, seal and nourish the hair and it contains fruit concentrate along with olive and argan oils. I have been using this mask twice a week and it's helping my hair to look healthier and nourished. It also has a very fruity and sweet scent which makes it very enjoyable to apply and that is always a plus for me.

3- Universo Garden Angels Tea Tree Oil Treatment Balm

This treatment balm is made of a very interesting mix of essential oils, such as lavender, lemon and, of course, tea tree oil to help in the treatment of acne and imperfections.
What I love about this product is that you apply it just in the areas of your face where you have spots and it completes the drying process. So, I think it's a very good addition to my skincare routine for those days when I'm a little bit break out. The results so far, have been very positive so I thought I would include it in my monthly favorites too.

So, these were all the products I'm loving at the moment, I hope you like this post and I would love to know which are your favorite products right now! ;)

The Ultimate Zaful Spring Wishlist

Zaful Spring Wishlist

For many of you, Spring has just arrived! And with that, comes the time to share with you some of my favorite items from Zaful that you can get for this new season.

Even though I'm actually starting to get colder days here in Argentina, I thought I would show some of my must-have pieces for Spring-Summer because this store is having a lot of very interesting new items that I'm sure you are going to love. So let's get started!

Zaful Spring Wishlist Rompers
1 | 2 | 3

First, I did a little selection of rompers, which I think are one of the best pieces you can get for going on those weekend trips or maybe if you are already planning your summer holidays, you definitely need one of them! They are extremely comfortable and practical because you can get fully dressed with just one piece!

Another great thing about them is that you can find many different styles and picked the one you like the most, for example in this case I picked one floral romper that is very fun and girly, then another one with black and white strippes, which is also very interesting and last but not the least I really loved the white broderie one, because white looks amazing for Spring-Summer.

Zaful Spring Wishlist Dresses
1 | 2

Then I have picked two wrapped dresses, because they are also super practical and very flattering as well. Both of them, have the most beautiful floral print and I really love those vibrant colors! I think they will look so cute with some sandals or even ankle booties because they are that type of dresses that look great with anything.

1 | 2

I have also picked some other dress options in case you don't like florals, I have found this beautiful yellow off the shoulder dress because I think that color is very bright and it will look amazing on those warmer days. In addition, I have picked this lovely polka dots dress because this is one of the trend prints of the season.

Zaful Spring Wishlist Bikinis
1 | 2 | 3

And last but not the least, I couldn't miss the bikinis! Again, for all of you who may be already planning your summer holidays, I have made a little selection of my favorites. I have picked one with the most gorgeous yellow color, which I think will look amazing against the tanned skin and then I picked one in red color because I loved the wrap detail, I think it looks very interesting. And of course, I had to include one bikini with that kind of palm tree leaves print because it's my favorite and I think it's still on trend.

I really hope you like this wishlist! Please let me know which article is your favorite and also I would love to know which are your Spring essentials ;)

10 Hours in Frankfurt

I hope you all had a lovely Easter! I had a great time with my family but I was a little sick so I couldn't do too much during last weekend. Anyway, I'm back today with another travel post and I thought it would be great to change a little bit and talk to you about a country that I have visited last year for the first time! I'm talking about Germany.

Frankfurt Old Town

Frankfurt Old Town Details

I was able to visit a little bit of this country last summer when I was coming back from Croatia because I had a 10-hour layover in Frankfurt. As always when I'm visiting a new place I was super excited to discover this city and for this case, in particular, I had an extra motivation to go to Frankfurt because I had the chance to see one of my friends, who is now living there.

So, I arrived in Frankfurt around 8am and my flight to go back home was at 10pm. Therefore, I had a lot of time to spend and the first thing I did was getting a 24-hour transportation ticket to move around the city. It's very easy to get to the city center from the airport, I just took the train and in about 20 minutes I was at Frankfurt Main Train Station.

Frankfurt Main Train Station

Frankfurt City

I have to say that I didn't have too much information about what to see and do in the city so I found a Tourist Info office right there at the train station and asked for a map and some suggestions about how to spend my time there. They were super helpful at the Tourist info Office and gave me all the necessary directions and recommendations to start my journey!

I first walked a few streets in the direction of the Old Town to try to sense the vibe of this city. Frankfurt is a very big city, so it has a lot of movement and life. What I also noticed is that it is a very diverse place too! It was full of different restaurants serving foods from all over the world and you could see that there were a lot of people from different cultures living together there.

After getting a little bit lost, I'm not going to lie :P I was able to find the Euro Building by accident. This building is very modern and that was another interesting thing about Frankfurt, the city is a perfect mix of extremely new and modern offices and buildings along with those traditional old German houses.

Frankfurt Euro Building

When I reached the Old Town, I found some very nice traditional buildings with the most beautiful colors! I stayed there for a while taking some pictures, buying souvenirs and chatting with a local lady, who also gave me more recommendations! She told me to go and check out the river and the bridge, that were just behind the Old Town so I did exactly that. The bridge was really pretty and you could get a nice view of the city from there.

After that, I had a little lunch that I bought in one of the bakeries. I really wanted to try that because the smell from the German bakeries was absolutely delicious and the sandwich I bought was delicious indeed. Then I went to visit one street that concentrated all the stores and also there was a shopping mall there. This street has a very lively atmosphere and it was full of people walking and doing some shopping.

Around 4pm I was really tired of all that walking and sightseeing so I left the city center and went to pick up my friend to her office. Once I met with her, we went to visit the town where she actually lives, which I'm going to show you in a different post because it's the loveliest little town I have ever seen!

So, that was what I did during my 10-hour layover in Frankfurt! I hope you like this post and please let me know if you have ever been to Frankfurt or Germany and also I would love to know if you also take advantage of layovers to explore some cities :)
