The Perfect Transitional Coat

Bershka Faux Suede Transitional Trench Coat

One of the things that I love the most about transitional fashion is that is the time of the year in which we are allowed to mix a lot of different pieces, we can wear blazers, denim jackets, leather jackets, coats, boots, or flats, pants, skirts or dresses. I would say that we can rotate all the pieces in our wardrobe and make some amazing combinations.

The star piece for the fall season is definitely a trench coat because it's lightweight but still gets you covered, so it's perfect for those days when is not so cold yet to wear a proper coat or a heavier jacket.

In addition, trench coats are super versatile, elegant, and chic, so they can elevate any outfit and they always give you those cool Parisian vibes, and who doesn't want that? Also, there are a lot of different types of trench coats in the market so it's easy to find the one that suits you the best.

In my case, I have bought this faux suede trench coat at Bershka during their summer sale and I was eagerly waiting for the temperatures to cool down so I could get a chance to wear it. I love that it's very casual and chic at the same time, the color goes perfectly with everything and it has the perfect length for my height. It has become my most worn piece of the season.

I paired it with this Zara black t-shirt and this gorgeous embroidered skirt that I haven't worn in a long time and to be honest, I can't see why because it looks so good and it's perfect for this transitional weather.

I hope you like this outfit and please tell me do you have a favorite transitional piece? Is it a trench coat or maybe a leather jacket? I would love to know :)

Fall Wishlist 2018

After a really long time of not posting here, I'm finally back! It was really strange for me not to be present on the blogosphere since I have been posting consistently for the last four years. The thing is that the last two months were full of big changes for me, so I really had to concentrate on those changes and put my blog aside for a little while but now I have started posting again I will hopefully continue the same way as before.

Anyway, for today's post, I wanted to do something very quick and share with you some of my favorite pieces for this new season! Fall is definitely one of my favorite seasons because you can mix a lot of different pieces and as the weather changes, I feel like you have the chance to wear almost anything in your closet.

The pieces I have been more drawn to lately are definitely boots, jackets, cozy sweaters (find here a good selection of women sweater) and hats! These articles are the staples of a fall wardrobe.

When it comes to picking colors for this season, I feel like neutral colors are the stars of fall! Nothing looks better than a classic grey knit or a camel coat. And if you want to add some more fun to your closet, you can always pick some animal print (another star of the season) which works exactly like a neutral but it's much more interesting.

I really hope you like this post and I would love to know which trends are you loving lately? Did you also jump to the leopard print bandwagon? Let me know in the comments!! :)

New Video: 5 Must-Have Items for Fall / Transitional Season

This week is time again for a new video! I feel like I have talked about this topic a lot on the blog but it's something I find very interesting. That is getting dressed during transitional season. It doesn't matter if you are now in Fall or Spring, finding the perfect outfit to wear during this time of the year can be very challenging but also very fun too!

I love dressing for this type of weather because I feel like you can mix both seasons and play a lot with different pieces to get very cool outfits! But I know it's very easy to fail in picking out the right look because the weather may confuse you and you could get too warm or too cold, which is never a good thing!

The best tip I could give you on how to get dressed for transitional weather is to rely on your basics! There are a few pieces that could become your best friends during this time of the year and they will help you to get a comfortable, weather appropriate and stylish look without putting too much effort.

So, without further due, here is my little video about my essentials for transitional weather and I'm also showing you some of my favorite pieces in case you would like to update your wardrobe. Also, I would love for you to check out my other videos and subscribed to my Youtube channel ;)

Guest Post: The Best Three Fall 2016 Trends Unleashed Here! by Suzy Walsh

We are almost in the final quarter of 2016, and it is the perfect time to discuss some of the best trends of the year. In this post, we will talk of the best three trends for fall 2016. Also, we will add some of the best tips and ideas for making the most of these styles.

Play with Leather: Honestly, we don’t support leather and there are serious ethical reasons behind it. Leather industry has been long being accused of animal abuse, but we cannot deny the fact that leather is amazing for creating new looks. For the fall, designers have used varied kinds of sculptural looks for the outerwear, adding more dimensions to the classic trench coats and outerwear. There were also a lot of experimental ideas, as well, offering something for every kind of closet needs. Of course, you can play it safe with faux leather, which is amazing too. For some ideas, you can check 3.1 Phillip Lim, Alexander Wang and Karen Walker for a few ideas.

Pink is the new black: Most girls love the idea of pink for the summers, and it is more than practical to wear pinky tones for the sunny days, but have you wondered how pink would look for the fall? While many designers still played it safe with the classic looks and shades, some like Alexander Wang, Altuzarra and Tibi worked with pinks in an incredible range. There were too many soft and peachy shades, but there were also other shades of fuchsia, which worked wonders in many ways. The idea was to probably mix a lot of unique shades to the fall palette and it worked big time. Pair your regular pink top with a pair of tights for that casual appeal. Checks for love: Calvin Klein, Coach, and Jason Wu were some of the big names that played with the ideas of checks. Checkered looks are astonishing for the sheer fact that they never go out of trend. Every season, you have something or the other on the same lines. If you remember, gingham had emerged as one of the biggest trends for spring 2015. This time, you have checks that are meant to create impression. From a simple shirt to completely new jumpsuit, there is a lot that you can play and experiment with. The whole concept isn’t just about finding the checks that matches your existing outfits, but you would want to play with more vibrant colours, that are not very typical for the fall.

Hope you found the three picks you need for these three months. With new collections for spring 2017 coming up, there might be more trends in days to come. We will surely meet again for another rendezvous with fashion on that too. Until then, stay happy!
