Leather Pants Edit for This Fall/Winter Season

Leather is a very big trend right now. You can find everything leather in the high street stores, from shorts and skirts to dresses, blazers and especially pants. All sorts of leather pants and leggings are available in every single brand and I could be any happier! I'm such a big leather lover.

I actually started only wearing faux leather a few years ago because it's more eco friendly and I think that right now there are some great materials which look just as good as leather and they are also very resistant. But for the purpose of this post, I would just say leather because I'm referring to that leather look. 

A touch of leather gives an outfit that rock and roll, cool chick vibes and for winter it's one of our best friends because it helps us to look more interesting while still keeping us warm. I especially love wearing leather pants during winter to add more texture to my looks and I personally love the combination of textures paired with wool coats. It looks so classy and expensive.

These are the key elements from today's outfit, my new green coated baggy pants with this timeless black wool coat, both from Zara. I actually can't believe I'm wearing baggy pants because I always thought that since I'm quite petite and skinny they wouldn't look good on me, but these pants look incredible! I'm totally obsessed with their shape and with that olive green color that matches so well with any other color, I have, such as grey, black, beige, or burgundy. What a great neutral shade to add to your wardrobe if you haven't already!

Now let's discussed this black coat, can you guys believe I didn't have any black coats here? I had one very old in Argentina but I didn't bring it with me here and I still can't believe how I could live more than 2 years and survive (fashionably speaking) two winters without a black coat? Anyway, this one is currently discounted in Zara so it's definitely a great option to have in mind if you are looking for the perfect black coat. What I love about this particular design is the length, because it's short but long enough to cover your hips and I also love the golden buttons which add a lot of elegance and chicness to this piece.

The Perfect Transitional Coat

 

One of the things that I love the most about transitional fashion is that is the time of the year in which we are allowed to mix a lot of different pieces, we can wear blazers, denim jackets, leather jackets, coats, boots, or flats, pants, skirts or dresses. I would say that we can rotate all the pieces in our wardrobe and make some amazing combinations. 

The star piece for the fall season is definitely a trench coat because it's lightweight but still gets you covered, so it's perfect for those days when is not so cold yet to wear a proper coat or a heavier jacket. 

In addition, trench coats are super versatile, elegant, and chic, so they can elevate any outfit and they always give you those cool Parisian vibes, and who doesn't want that? Also, there are a lot of different types of trench coats in the market so it's easy to find the one that suits you the best.

In my case, I have bought this faux suede trench coat at Bershka during their summer sale and I was eagerly waiting for the temperatures to cool down so I could get a chance to wear it. I love that it's very casual and chic at the same time, the color goes perfectly with everything and it has the perfect length for my height. It has become my most worn piece of the season. 

I paired it with this Zara black t-shirt and this gorgeous embroidered skirt that I haven't worn in a long time and to be honest, I can't see why because it looks so good and it's perfect for this transitional weather.

Last Summer Outfit for a Day in Opatija

Slowly but surely summer days are now behind us but before fall has officially started I had the chance to go on a day trip to Opatija to enjoy my last day at the beach for this season. 

I felt very grateful that in the middle of September I was able to wear this kind of outfit which is for sure something I would wear for those very hot days as I have mentioned in one of my previous posts. Luckily, the weather here in Croatia was really perfect and sunny these last few days so I even had the chance to have a swim, I couldn't be any happier, to be honest! :) 

I have visited Opatija before a few times and I have even written a post with my top recommendations on what to see and do there but this place always amazes me! Every time I found new perfect spots for photos and as it was the end of the season everything was really nice and tranquil.

My friend and I arrived at noon and went first to have a coffee, which was absolutely delicious, and then we had a nice walk looking for the best locations for our pictures. After that, we grabbed some sandwiches, ate with the beautiful sea view, and then went straight to the beach. 

The sea was perfect and on the beach, there was plenty of space so social distancing was not a problem ;) 

Now let's talk about the outfit, I was wearing another of my recent Zara purchases, this green floral skirt, which is actually a pair of shorts (how convenient, right?) has been in my summer wishlist for so long and when I saw it was on sale, I knew I had to have them! I think the green color is really classic and easy to style and I also love the fit and how flattering it looks. I would totally say this is also another summer staple that I would be wearing next year as well. 

I paired the skirt with this Zara basic white t-shirt, which I love because it has that nice interesting shape on the shoulders but without having the shoulder pads, which I actually like and I think that they are super trendy but I don't think they look so good on me, so it's great that I can get that look without them ;)

Anyway, I'm very happy I was able to visit the sea before the temperatures start to get lower and also that I was able to wear these recent purchases. How to Add Some Magic to Your Look with Jewelry

Everything in this universe is made of energy, from the light of the sun, the wind, and the sea to the smallest things like stones, metals, and flowers. Everything around us has a vibration that has an influence on us and the good thing is that we can use this to our advantage and incorporate some magic into our daily life in a very easy way, and that is through jewelry.

As I just mentioned before, metals for example silver, carry a special vibration that can help us to protect our energy. That's is why in many traditional cultures, wedding gowns the women have always had some sort of metal, not only as decoration but also as a way to protect the bride and her energy on such an important day. 

In this modern world, we don't need to be so extreme about it but it's always good to have some extra dose of good vibes and with jewelry, we can achieve and at the same time look a lot better adding some interesting details to our outfits. So, how do we do it?

Symbols carry a very powerful meaning so if you can include any symbol that relates to you, that always helps to raise your vibration. This is a symbol that is commonly found in cultures such as the Turkish and it helps us to protect us from the low vibration and negative thoughts that can be around us. Outfit Inspiration for Very Hot Days

Can you believe that we are already in the last week of August? I feel like I'm not yet prepared to let go of summer and start thinking about fall. 

Time is passing in a very strange way this year for sure and although I have the feeling that I wasn't able to wear all the new summer clothes and cute outfits I have planned in my head, I still feel very grateful that I was able to enjoy some beautiful days in the city with my friends. 

Last few days the weather was so hot here in Zagreb that I really had to think in a way to look cute but still wear something comfortable, fresh and breathable and I have found in this two new pieces my best friends for those days where the temperature goes higher than 30 degrees. 

This cute floral skirt from Zara, which was discounted and super cheap is the perfect summer staple, so girly and feminine but still very easy to wear and style with anything! The fabric is very light and the shape is super flattering. I also love the bow detail it has, which adds a little bit more interest to this piece.

I paired this skirt with this white Stradivarius top, which has also become one of my favorite pieces from this season because it also goes well with everything. Also, this top is made from viscose which is a very lightweight and breathable fabric, perfect for those extremely hot summer days when you have no idea what to wear. 

To finish the outfit I wore these straw-like sandals from H&M which are super comfortable and of course my new bag from Zara, which you probably already saw in one of my previous posts, I'm still so in love with it!

White Summer Dresses Wishlist from Shein

I have been on the hunt for a little white dress for the summer for so long. Even before spring came and then summer, I was already dreaming of sunset walks by the beach wearing a beautiful white dress, with some cute sandals and a cute bag. This would be definitely my ideal summer outfit because it's simple, casual but still very pretty and feminine. 

Although I normally don't wear dresses that often I think that when I find my perfect white summer dress, I would take advantage of every opportunity to wear it :)

Unfortunately, I have already tried a few of them at Zara, H&M, and many other brands and I just wasn't able to find one that fits me well so I'm still on the hunt for my ideal dress. Since I'm actually looking everywhere I thought it would be a good idea to share some of my favorites from Shein, because I have found some really cute styles on their website and even though I won't be able to try the dress before buying it, it's not such a big investment. Also, I have found some pieces that fitted me very well in these shops. 

I personally prefer dresses that are made from light fabrics and have some feminine details such as bows, broderie, etc because they make any item more interesting and elegant. So you are going to definitely find a lot of that in my selection ;)

Seize your Style Relaunch and What I Have Been Up To

I know all of you are going to agree with me that this year is very unpredictable and challenging but in times like this is important for us to connect again with those things that made us happy at some point, that allowed us to be creative and to dream about the endless possibilities ahead of us. 

That was what Seize your Style! meant to me when I started blogging and although I took a long pause, it was never because my blog stopped making me happy but because I was dedicating my time to pursuing another of my dreams in life, which was moving from Argentina to Croatia. 

After almost 2 years of that big move, which took a lot of time, effort, and planning, I now feel more grounded and established in my new city. During all these months I was continuously dreaming of blogging again but studying a new language, finding an apartment here, finding a job, meeting new people are all things that required a lot of my time and became my priorities.

The idea of this relaunch of my blog is to start again to share fashion inspiration, the new trends and products I'm loving, and much more. Of course, if you would like me to also share more about how is my new life going here in Croatia, how it was like for me to move to another country and any other topics you may be interested about, please let me know in the comments and I will be more than happy to include it as well. 

I think that would be all for now but I'm thrilled to say it already feels great to be back ;)

Fall Wishlist 2018

After a really long time of not posting here, I'm finally back! It was really strange for me not to be present on the blogosphere since I have been posting consistently for the last four years. The thing is that the last two months were full of big changes for me, so I really had to concentrate on those changes and put my blog aside for a little while but now I have started posting again I will hopefully continue the same way as before. 

Anyway, for today's post, I wanted to do something very quick and share with you some of my favorite pieces for this new season! Fall is definitely one of my favorite seasons because you can mix a lot of different pieces and as the weather changes, I feel like you have the chance to wear almost anything in your closet.
