Planning My Ideal Brunch with Paperless Post!

Picture from Timoteo

We are already in September which is my favourite month of the year, basically because of two things: spring is coming, which means, warmer days outside in the sun, flowers everywhere and more opportunities to go out with my friends, and also because it is my birthday month! ;)
So, I have started to think about different ways to celebrate it and I came across the idea of hosting my own brunch, with my friends and family. I really love having breakfast, it is one of the things I enjoy the most and I also really think it's a very fun and original idea.
The great thing about hosting your own event is that you can add a lot of your personality to it, in many different aspects
So, If I had to think about what my ideal brunch would include, in regards to the menu, I'm a very traditional person I like simple but tasty food, so I would definitely go with some chocolate croissants, scons with lemon curd (I love lemon!), bagels, pancakes, yogurt and lots of fresh fruits! Of course, I would also include champagne to finish with a birthday toast!

Another important thing to make my brunch more special and personal are the invitations. I think it's very nice to let your friends and family know that you're preparing this gathering by sending them a cute invitation card. While doing some research on this, I found Paperless Post, a website in which you can choose the perfect invitation for your event, whether it is a brunch, a dinner, a barbecue, a pool party, everything is covered! They have a large variety of desings to pick and also you can choose if you want to send them online, which is always faster and eco friendly but in case you are more traditional and want to send paper invitations you can do it too!
So, browsing through their webpage I found my perfect brunch invitation, I think this one really reflects my classic idea of a brunch and I really find the food designs very cute and tempting ;)

Last but not the least, the table decoration is another very important aspect. I think for my ideal brunch I would definitely choose very simple tableware, probably everything white to make sure the food stands out so it looks better for Instagram pictures and I would probably add some color with the napkins and flowers.

I hope you like these brunch ideas!

Buenos Aires Celebrates Italy

Le Marché: French food in Buenos Aires
