Scandinavian Decoration Style Inspiration
I'm not at all an expert when it comes to home decor but it's a topic that I have started to research a little bit more about because I'm very interested in redesigning my bedroom.
I think I was never that into home design because I had no idea which was my particular style when it comes to decoration. Having a style is very important not only for fashion because it gives you some sort of guide and it helps you to make the right decisions, in accordance with your personality and taste.
But it was some weeks ago that a friend of mine shared with me this test to help you find your style in regards to interior design and I found it super useful! As I said before, I had no idea what I liked for my bedroom space and my bedroom didn't have any style or theme. So after taking this test and finding out which was my personal style I decided it was time to make some adjustments to my room in order to reflect this.
You are probably wondering now what was the result of the test? Well, my style is Scandinavian and I thought it makes a lot of sense with my personality. After finding out this, I have started doing some research and looking for some inspiration in Pinterest. So which are the main elements of this decoration style and how you can achieve the Scandinavian look in your home? Let's dive into them!
1- Neutral colors
Scandinavian style is all about neutral colors, most of the images I have seen of rooms in Pinterest are designed mainly in white and grey shades. Some of them also included some touches of pastel colors such as pink and light blue. These are perfect for you to add if you want to give your room a girly touch :)
2- Light colored wood
I have also seen that most of the furniture is either white or is made of light colored wood. I really like how this looks because it gives a sense of warmth to the room. If you can't decide between white and this light wood there are some pieces of furniture that mix both and they also look great!
3- Metallic accents
Another key element of this style of decoration is to add some metallic accents, here you can choose your favorite metals, whether you prefer gold, silver or rose gold, some metallic pieces and accessories will add more interest to your space.
4- Choose geometric shapes
When picking your furniture pieces, lamps or anything else you want to include in your room, opt for those that have simple geometric shapes to get that clean Scandinavian style. This will help you to maintain some theme and cohesion in your home space.
5- Include plants
Last but not the least, when I was looking for some inspiration on Instagram, all the rooms I saw there included at least one plant. I think that pop of green looks really cool with the rest of the elements and it also gives me a fresh feeling. So, a nice plant is definitely a must-have if you want to achieve this decoration style.
Well, these were all the main elements of the Scandinavian style that I was able to identify and that I will try to incorporate to my bedroom in order to create something that I like more and that represents better my personality and style. As you can see, it's not so difficult to do, you just need to find which are the key elements of that style and try to choose accordingly when you are purchasing something for your home, having that style in mind.
I hope you find this post useful and I would love to know if you have a decoration style? If you do, let me know what is it! :)

New Video: Re-Creating Outfits from Instagram
Today it's time for a new video!! I came across this video idea thanks to one of my friends Florencia, who is one of my biggest supporters because I remember one day I was sharing some outfits from my favorite bloggers with her, telling her I would love to dress like that and she replied: You can totally re-create that outfit!
So I decided to accept that challenge and tried to re-create 3 different outfits from some of my favorite bloggers: @tamara, @inthefrow, and @modeison_ with items I already have in my wardrobe.
I had a lot of fun filming this video and going through my clothes in order to replicate these looks as similar as possible! The idea is that some of our favorite outfits are based on basic pieces that we can already find in our own closet. So the trick is identifying the key pieces on each look and try to look for those characteristics in your clothes.
So, let's see how this worked! ;)

What I Wore in a Week - Summer Edition

Zodiac Trend
It's very well known that Christian Dior was a very superstitious person, he believed in astrology, in the destiny, and in the zodiac signs. I remember when I found out about this aspect of his personality I felt amazed because I also believe in this kind of things.
There is something magical, powerful, mysterious and mystical about the zodiac signs, horoscopes, and astrology, whether you believe in them or not, we all want to know what is the character of our sun sing and how the planet transits are going to affect our energy. It's both interesting and entertaining and if we find a real prediction is very likely that we will start believing in it.
Anyway, not only Dior has launched some Zodiac inspired items during this year but I have also noticed some other brands have made clothing or jewelry pieces inspired in the stars constellations, the planets and all the symbology behind astrology.

I'm sure you all remember how much I love my astral t-shirt from Zara that I have featured in my last monthly favorites post because I think it looks very cool and interesting so I'm very happy that I have found this zodiac theme to be some kind of a trend lately in the fashion world.
Apart from the Dior beautiful scarves I have found with every single Zodiac sign, which look so luxurious and I dream of one day having the Libra one (that's my sign). I have recently found a jewelry brand called Wanderlust + Co that has the most beautiful rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets within this theme.

You can pick a ring or a pair of earrings with the constellation of your zodiac sign, a moon necklace or a bracelet that features every single moon phase, which I'm absolutely obsessed with.
I think having a piece of jewelry or clothing that represents something personal like your zodiac sign is a great way to add something very unique to any outfit. Also, it could be a great conversation starter or a way to attract more people that are interested in these topics;)

The Canotier: The IT Hat for the Summer
I love wearing hats especially in the summer, not only because they protect your hair and skin from the sunlight but also because they are extremely chic. They can instantly add a touch of glamour to any summer outfit! Nothing like wearing some denim shorts with and off the shoulder top, sandals and, of course, a nice hat to complete the outfit. It's such a simple combination yet so powerful!
But, from all the beautiful summer hats available there is one style that I'm completely in love with: the canotier hat. For those of you who may not be familiar with the name of this hat, it is the typical hat that the gondolieri in Venice wear and that you may have seen all over Instagram lately. Because nothing represents the summer days in Europe like a canotier hat.
For me, it's the maximum expression of elegance and glamour and it's also a very classic style that you will be able to wear forever and that goes perfectly with any summer outfit you can think about.
So for today's post, I want to share with you some inspiration featuring the "it hat" of the summer. I hope you like it and I hope I'm able to buy one of this hats for my next summer because I really love them :)

Tips for a Successful Job Interview + Outfit ideas
Pants: Akiabara - Sweater: Zara - Shoes: Zara - Watch: Swatch - Sunglasses: Union Pacific
As some of you may already know because of this post, I have recently left my office job, which means that now I am actively searching for a new one. Even though I have spent the last 7 years of my life working in the same company that doesn't mean that I never went to a job interview during that period of time. It was actually quite the opposite. Only in 2015, I have had 5 interviews in that company and even though they weren't successful in the sense of actually getting the job, they allowed to learn a lot and understand better the interview process.
So, in order to get ready for the future interviews I will be having, I thought it was a great idea to share with you some of my tips and outfit ideas.
Let's start with the tips!
1. Always make sure to do some research about the company you are applying for: This is a very important thing to do before going to a job interview. It's important to get to know the company you are applying, what type of product/service they offer, how many employees they have, in which countries they operate and the most important for me is to know their values and their mission. Knowing this information will allow you to think whether those values match with yours and also it will help you to think about specific examples in which you can show how you apply those values to the interviewer.
2. Think your examples in advance: Once you have gathered all the information about the company and the position you are applying for, it's time to think about the examples that you are going to share with the interviewer. Not all the interviews are the same but, going through many of them made me realise that most of the times they questions they ask are very similar: "Tell me about a situation in which you failed or things didn't work out as you have expected and what didi you do to overcome that?", "Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a difficult client and what did you do to solve the situation?", "Tell me an example of a situation in which you had to influence people and how did you do it?", and the most important for me is "Which skills you consider that you can bring to the position or the company?". The important thing here is to think about real life situations, specific examples that show how you use your skills and how you would manage these scenarios. Try to present them in a very concise way, start with explaining what was the situation or problem, which were your actions to solve it and what was the result.
3. Be yourself and stay relaxed: going to a job interview can be a stressful situation but it's important to remember that every single interview is an opportunity to learn, to meet new people and companies and it's part of a process in which you can be selected or not. Try to arrive early to the interview in order to reduce some of the stress as well as prepared with some of your answers and examples ready. This will allow you to feel more comfortable because you already know what to say. In case the interviewer asks you something you don't have a prepared answer just take your time to think about it and reply. In the end of the day, if you weren't selected don't take it personally and just appreciate that you had an opportunity to show your skills and also to practice when the next interview comes you will feel a lot more confident and relaxed :)
Last but not the least, one of the things I enjoy more about going to a job interview is thinking about what I am going to wear. So, I also prepared some outfit inspiration to show you! My favourite pieces to wear to a job interview are pants because they make me feel more comfortable and they look very professional. I also sometimes wear some nice flats because I want to make sure that I'm able to walk properly. In addition, I like to wear a blazer as well because it's the easiest way to look professional. In regards to the colours, I normally stick to black, blue and grey for the same reason, those colours are the ones that make you look responsible, professional, capable and all those things we want to show our future employer. I hope you like this post and please let me know which outfit is your favourite and also what do you normally wear to a job interview.

Style Inspiration from the streets of Zagreb
One of my favourite activities in this city is definitely to sit in some cafe, enjoy a good cappuccino maybe with a delicious piece of cake and just watch the people passing by. It's not only a very relaxing activity but also very inspiring because all the people here in Zagreb are so elegant and stylish!!
The women are so feminine and chic, but also very trendy as well, and they are always very well dressed even if it just for going for a coffee, everyone here really tries to look at their best and I love that! It really motivates me to try to create amazing outfits and try different things to improve my style!
So for today's post, I wanted to share with you some inspiration from the streets of Zagreb that I have found in some great street style blogs from the city: StyleZagreb, which is my favourite, I really recommend that you check it out; Style Seconds, which has more editorial kind of photos but is also very good, and CroModa. So I hope you like them as much as I do!! :)

My Perfect Night In with Adore Me
When we are having a long day, full of meetings and things to do, what we desire the most is to get home to relax and re-charge our batteries. I always enjoy my time at home, it is my peaceful place where I can take care of myself, have some comfort, rest and prepare for another day.
So when I come back home after a long day, the first thing I do is taking my shoes off because it gives me an instant feeling of freedom and it helps me to start relaxing.
Then, I take off my make up and clean my face. It's like a nice little ritual to take away all the stress from that day and it also makes me feel fresh and renewed.
My next step would be to change my clothes and put on some nice and comfy pajamas. I really like basic pijamas, just a pair of soft cotton pants with an equally soft top because the important thing here is to feel the comfort, to feel at home. And as I was browsing through Adore Me website, I was able to find a lot of beautiful pajamas that look incredibly soft, comfortable and super cute and stylish, which is always a plus even for sleepwear. They also have amazing bra and panty sets which I am totally obsessed about because they are just so beautiful and they have a lot of different colors and styles to choose from!
So, once I'm all ready and comfy, I prepare a mug of tea and I go to bed to relax checking some of my friend's Instagram stories so I know what they have been doing that day or I catch up with some of my favourite Youtube channels. Lately I'm totally obsessed with Tamara Kalinic from the blog Glam and Glitter, she is one of my favourite bloggers because she is super feminine, chic and elegant and on her Youtube channel she shares all of her amazing trips, her monthly favourites, her shoe collection, and a lot of interesting things. I also watch another channel called Skyflygirl, which is an Emirates flight attendant who shares all her adventures around the world. What I like about these two channels is that both of them are always very inspiring and they share a lot of positive vibes and thoughts, so this helps me to go to bed with a positive mindset and motivated for the next day!
Hope you like my perfect night in routine and please let me know what would you include in yours? Also, here are some of my favourite sets from Adore Me, but in case you would like to see more I highly recommend visiting Adore Me Pinterest site for tons of inspiration ;)
