First Impressions Korean Beauty from Wishtrend

As you may have noticed already from my previous posts, I am a big Korean skincare fanatic since the first time I have tried this kind of product. I was lucky enough to get to know some of these brands throughout my first collaboration with Wishtrend, and from that day on, I have started to research and try more and more brands. 

For today's post, I would like to share my first impressions of some products I have also received from Wishtrend. On this site, you can get some of the best Korean brands and they even have their own brand By Wishtrend, from which I have only heard great things. So I invite you to take a look at this site if you are interested in trying some Korean skincare products because they have some great offers quite often. So, without further due, let's begin discussing these new products I have tried. 

I'm From Rice Toner

I have heard many great comments about this toner on TikTok (yes you already know that TikTok has influenced a lot of my beauty purchases lately) and I was very interested in trying it out because it looks so soothing and calming. The rice helps to clean the skin and make it clear and glowy. It's very hydrating and moisturizing so it feels really nice on the skin when you apply it. It has a very light and liquid texture, almost like milk and it absorbs very quickly into the skin. In addition, this toner has Niacinamide, which also helps to regulate sebum production and to brighten the skin. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product and I'm very happy I have incorporated it into my skincare routine.

Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil

I was very interested in trying some other products from this brand since I had such a good experience with their Vitamin C serum and I opted for this cleansing oil because I wanted to try something different for my double cleansing routine. This was my first time trying a cleansing oil and I have to say I'm very surprised! This oil does a very good job in removing my makeup, it takes a little time to work it, especially on the eye area but it does remove all my mascara, without any problems. You need to rinse it out a few times to make sure that there is no oil residue on your face but after you finish the skin feels very soft, clean but still hydrated and nourished. Just keep in mind if you use this product that you need to use another water-based cleanser to remove all the excess oil and to make you it doesn't clog your pores. I'm also super satisfied with this cleansing oil and I will be using it every other day instead of the micellar water so I can remove my makeup without using so many cotton pads. 

Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence

From Korean brands, you can get the best sunscreens because they have amazing formulas that are lightweight, hydrating, and that don't leave a white cast. this particular sunscreen from Klairs has SPF 50 and it blocks UVA and UVB rays so it gives you complete protection from the sun. This Klairs SPF contains 80ml so you get a lot of product for a very good price. The texture is like a light moisturizer and it gets absorbed very quickly without any white cast, I even think it's lighter than the Purito one and that is a lot to say! So, overall I'm very impressed with this SPF and I would totally recommend it.

I got this shoes in size 37 which is my normal size and they fit perfectly so I'm very happy about that but as I said in my previous post I always recommend checking the size guide to make sure. My First Steps into Korean Beauty: Klairs Products Review

A few months ago, I have started hearing a lot about Korean Beauty and I was completely intrigued by it. So many bloggers were saying wonderful things about some particular products from Korean brands that I was really looking forward to learning more about this skincare system and perhaps trying one of their products. 
The truth is I was seeing this as something difficult to me because you can't get any Korean products here in Argentina but I was super lucky and I got an email from the lovely people at Wishtrend, a major Korean Beauty online store, to test some of their products! You can't imagine how excited I was with this email because I was going to see with my own eyes if all this hype around K-Beauty products was true!

Once I have accepted this collaboration, I decided to do some more research about the Korean Skincare routine, just to have a little bit more information about how I would incorporate the new products to my normal skincare routine and also to see if I needed to make some adjustments to the steps I was doing at the moment. 
Anyway, I have received two amazing products from a Korean brand named Klairs, which were exactly what my skin was needing at the moment. As far as I know, this brand only works with natural ingredients and is vegan-friendly, which is always a plus. 

The first product I received is Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Serum and this is a very gentle and aqueous serum which helps to hydrate and replenish moisture in the skin. This product has a very light and watery texture, it feels very nice on the skin and it absorbs very quickly. It's not sticky at all and it's very easy to apply. I normally use just two pumps of the product for my entire face. I have been using it every morning and night for the last month and I really enjoy applying it to my skin. Once I finish, my skin feels super smooth and hydrated so I consider that this serum totally does what it promises.
Another positive aspect of this product is that it contains a very good amount, it's a bottle of 80ml and you just need to apply 1-2 pumps to cover your face so I think it will last a good time. 

I have also received Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop which is a Vitamin C concentrate and I have to say that this is the product that has surprised me the most! It was my first time using any product with Vitamin C and I have seen the greatest difference once I have started using it. 
Apart from pure Vitamin C essence, this product also contains Centella Asiatica, Yuzu, and Grapefruit extracts, as well as L-Ascorbic Acid, which help to stimulate collagen production and they also help to improve skin tone and texture without harsh irritation. 
It's indicated to use 1-2 drops of this product in the morning and evening but I have been using it just in the evenings. 

As this was my first time using a Vitamin C extract I wasn't very sure about how to incorporate this product into my skincare routine. Even though the Wishtrend site has a lot of information about each product, it would be nice if they include more information about how to use them in a particular routine, in which order it would be better to use each product because I was a little bit lost about this one.  
Anyway, I ended up applying the Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop right after the toner and before the serum and it worked perfectly!
This product is also watery and very easy to apply as well. I have been using 2 drops and it's more than enough for my face and neck. Right after I apply it, I just notice my skin to be a little more bright and luminous but I think this product works its magic overnight because I see a lot of improvements when I was up, but let's talk about this more in depth.

How my skin has improved by using these two products?

1) My skin looks brighter and more luminous
This was one of the most noticeable improvements I saw on my skin once I have started using these products. My skin tone was more even and brighter than ever! Every morning, when I wake up my skin has a healthy, natural glow and it looks more luminous. That's why I say that these products work their magic overnight. 

2) The texture of my skin is softer and smoother
When I touch my face I feel it incredibly soft and it's also a lot smoother than before. After just one month of using both products, I can see a difference in this aspect as well and I feel very satisfied with it.

3) My acne was reduced a lot
This was the most important improvement I have noticed after I started applying both products. I had a few pimples the day I received the package at home and after just one use of the Vitamin C extract and 2 uses of the serum, I saw those pimples looking a lot better the next day! Also, in all of this month using the Klairs products I didn't have as many pimples as before and if I had any it wasn't as bad as it used to be. So, here I see I huge difference and I could also add that all the acne scars and pigmentation marks are looking a lot better too. 

So these were my thoughts about my first experience trying Korean Beauty products and I have to say that it was a very positive one. I feel like this kind of products and skincare routine suits me very well, so I would definitely recommend these two products as they have shown amazing results on my skin. Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation Review

I know I have already mentioned this product before on my Top 5 Beauty Products of 2017 but this foundation is so good that it totally deserves a separate post!
I have always heard that in regards to makeup, it's very important to invest in a good quality foundation because that is the base of your entire makeup look!
If your face doesn't look good, there is no blush, no eyeshadow or lipstick that can improve the makeup. So I followed this advice and I was in the hunt to find my perfect foundation but it's actually very funny how I ended up buying this Shiseido foundation.

The truth is I wanted to try the Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation because I have heard from one of my favorite bloggers, Tamara Kalinic, that it was very good! But the day I decided to buy it, I went to a store that didn't sell Clinique products haha :P I'm going to say in my defense that I was traveling so I just stumbled upon this store and went there to ask if they have it.
So, when the sales representative told me they didn't sell Clinique products, I asked her if they had any similar foundation to that one. That was the time when she introduced me to Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation. I have always wanted to try this brand so I totally accepted her recommendation. Once she tried it on my skin I was completely sold! I loved the light texture and how the color merged perfectly with my skin tone. 
As you can imagine at this point, I ended up buying it and I'm very happy I did because it's the only foundation I have been using for the past year.

What I love about this product is, in the first place, the color which matches perfectly with my skin tone. Shiseido has 16 different shades of this foundation so it's very easy to find the right one for you! In my case, I have picked the shade Golden 4 and as I said before it merges perfectly with my natural skin tone.
In the second place, I love the texture of this product, as the name indicates, it's a liquid foundation and it's very light and easy to apply.  I normally apply it with a foundation brush and the product runs very smoothly. Once I have it on my skin, I don't even feel it and that's a great plus because I love feeling like my skin can still breathe under the makeup. In addition, this product has SPF 20, which to me is always important to have products that also protect my skin from the sun.

And last but not the least, I love the natural finish this foundation has! It improves and evens the skin tone, with a very good coverage but always keeping that natural look.  
For these reasons, this has become my favorite foundation and I'm very satisfied with it. I know that it's a little bit on the pricey side but I consider this to be a great investment because it will make all your makeup looks absolutely fabulous! The bottle contains 30 ml which I think it's a very good amount of product and taking into consideration that you can do your entire face with just one pump, it makes it very long lasting!

New Dress from Gamiss + Haul

A couple of weeks ago I have received some amazing products from Gamiss, a web store that I'm collaborating with, and I'm very excited to show them to you!
Before we start, I have to say two things, first that you can check their Gamiss valentines gifts selection and that I was super impressed with the quality of their products! All the items were exactly the same as you could see on the website, all the sizes were perfect and according to the size guide, which made the overall shopping experience very easy and pleasant!  

The first item I'm going to talk to you about was definitely my favorite from this haul: it's this Cold Shoulder Chiffon Dress in the most beautiful and elegant blue color. I have completely fallen in love with the sleeve details which make this dress so delicate and interesting at the same time! 

I think this kind of dress is perfect for any occasion because you can easily dress it down or up, according to your needs. In this case, I paired it with my H&M nude loafers to get a more casual look, along with this Aldo bag, which I think adds a really fun touch to the whole outfit! 

I have also decided to wear another item I have received from this store, which is this lovely Rhinestone Sun Moon Layered Pendant Necklace, which I absolutely adore because of the sun-moon-stars theme I have already told you I'm obsessed with! Another great thing about this product is that they are two separate necklaces so you can wear it all together stacking them or you can just wear one of them! So you can get 3 different looks with just one product! I think that's a great plus! 

The other items I have received from the brand were this absolutely cute Pineapple Shape Stud Earrings which are so adorable!! I'm in love with them! I think they are such a fun accessory to wear and they are perfect for summer. 

I have also received two pieces that I didn't have the chance to shot properly because they are outerwear pieces and the weather in Buenos Aires has been extremely hot lately but I'm sure I will be able to wear them for some nice cool summer nights. First, is this Faux Pu Long Sleeve Jacket, which I think it's a very cool bomber jacket to add to your wardrobe because the colors are very neutral, so it makes it very easy to style! 

And, last but not the least I have received a beautiful Knit Collarless Cardigan with Pockets in khaki color but this one is currently sold out.
