How I style my Red Adidas Gazelle?

Do you remember one of my last posts in which I talked about my obsession with Adidas Gazelle? Well, as you may have imagined, I ended up buying a pair of Adidas sneakers for myself because I couldn't resist it!  I have to confess that I wasn't 100% sure about the colour, I didn't know if I wanted something more neutral like black or blue or something more eye catching like red or green but then I realised that I normally wear neutral colours on my clothing pieces, so I thought that it would be a great idea to take a risk with the colour of my Gazelle. Because, as I always wear neutrals it was going to be very easy to combine them with everything and also it was going to be a great way to put the accent of an outfit on the shoes, something that I always like to do :)
So, I finally decided to buy the red Adidas and I couldn't be happier, the tone of red they have is very bright but still very easy to combine. It looks perfect with black, white, blue, grey, beige, green, whatever colour you would like to pair them with. They are a great addition to my wardrobe and they always give me that extra touch of street style chicness. I love them! 
For today's post, I want to show you how I used to style them while I was back in the Croatian winter. I wore this outfit to go exploring the city of Samobor, which I will show you in a future post, and I picked a black pair of jeans from Mango with my favourite new grey sweater from Pull & Bear. As you can see it's a very dark and neutral outfit but with that pop of colour on the shoes. I also added a green military inspired coat from Stradivarius, which I bought on sale and my favourite scarf from H&M. I love that scarf because it has a very nice colour combination of grey and beige which makes it so easy to pair with any other colour. To end up the outfit, I wore a cute beige backpack from Zara because it was very practical to carry around my camera, phone and all that stuff while exploring a new city ;)

I can't explain to you how obsessed I am with this sneaker trend! So many years ago, I used to work at an Adidas store and I remember back then I really loved this model even though it wasn't as popular as it is nowadays. 
I know I'm not the first one talking about this trend but since I have started seeing every single girl in Zagreb wearing them I became more and more obsessed! 
There are two basic reasons why I love Adidas Gazelle: the first one is because they are a very classic shoe model and I think they are very versatile and easy to style with everything. And reason number two is because you can get them in a very broad variety of colours, from black, the perfect option to go with everything, to more vibrant and playful colours such as red, pink, green, etc. You can choose the one that suits your mood and personality best!
So for today's post, I want to share some great street style inspiration with my latest obsession and soon I will show you what colour of Gazelle I picked and how I style them ;)

Adidas Sneakers Wishlist

Como probablemente ya han visto, las zapatillas se convirtieron en una pieza infaltable en el mundo de la moda hoy en día. El confort es uno de los elementos principales del estilo actual y podemos ver a las editoras de moda, it girls y bloggers de todo el mundo usándolas y viéndose tan chic como siempre.
La clave para lograr este estilo sería buscar zapatillas que agreguen diseño y color al conjunto y mantener el resto de las prendas simples y clásicas.
Adidas Originals desde hace tiempo viene trayendo modelos muy frescos y urbanos a las calles así que estaba buscando un poco de inspiración en zapatillas en su página y armé esta wishlist. Tengo que confesar que mis favoritas son las Gazelle con el estampado de ananás, cuál es el suyo?

As you may already know, sneakers have become a must have item in the fashion world nowadays. Comfort is one of the main elements of today's style and we can see fashion editors, it girls and bloggers around the world wearing them and looking as chic as always. 
The key to get this style is to look for sneakers that add desing and color to the outfit and to keep the rest simple and classic.
Adidas Originals has been for many years now brigging very cool and urban designs to the streets so I was getting some sneaker inspiration from them and prepare this wishlist. I have to confess that my favourite pair is the Gazelle with the pineapples, which one is yours?

Good Old Adidas

Hace algunos años, trabajé en Adidas solo por un verano como vendedora y, la verdad que disfruté mucho la experiencia. En ese momento, no era una persona muy deportiva y no solía usar zapatillas muy seguido (más o menos como ahora), así que no me llamaban tanto la atención los productos de Adidas. Pero, de todas formas, me compré este par de zapatillas de Adidas Originals. No estaba muy convencida en ese momento y las compré porque estaban a buen precio. No las usé mucho pero recientemente las re descubrí y ahora las encuentro como un elemento muy trendy y con mucha onda a pesar de que las tengo hace varios años. Por suerte, como las había usado muy poco, están como nuevas.
Así que, algunas veces aún cuando compramos cosas de las que no estamos muy seguros podemos llegar a re descubrirlas y mirarlas de otra forma como me pasó a mí con estas zapatillas que ahora no puedo dejar de usar.

Some years ago, I worked in Adidas in one summer, I was a sales person and I really enjoyed that experience. At that time, I wasn't a very sporty person and I didn't use snikers a lot (more or less as I am now), so I wasn't very much into Adidas products. But anyway I still bought this pair of snikers from Adidas Originals. I wasn't very convinced at that time and I purchased them because they had a good price. I didn't use them a lot, but recently I rediscover them and I found out that they are pretty trendy and cool regardless of the years gone by and as I almost didn't use them previously they are as good as new. 
So, sometimes even those things that we buy and we are not very sure about can be rediscovered and we can look at them in a different way as it happened to me with this snikers, now I can't stop wearing them.
