Monthly Favorites

I'm so excited because this is the first time I do a Monthly Favourites post!! There were a lot of things I was loving during the last month that I thought it was going to be a great idea to start doing this kind of posts! Please let me know what you think of this one and if you would like me to continue :)

My first favorite of the month is my new perfume from Givenchy: Ange ou Démon Le Secret Elixir. This was a gift from one of my aunts and I just adore this fragrance! It's very similar to the other Ange ou Démon Le Secret which I already had but this one is more intense. Plus the bottle of this perfume is so stunning, I'm so in love with that crystal shape and the colors of this one are simply beautiful. I'm becoming a huge fan of this Ange ou Démon family of fragrances so I would highly recommend for you to try this one out and let me know what you think.

Then another favorite of the month was definitely my Nilotic Sunrise Lemon Créme. I already did a full review about this product on the blog but I wanted to mention it again because I was using this product a lot on my skin and lips to hydrate and nourish them during the night and I'm loving the results. Another item I would like to mention as a favorite of this month is my pair of Timberland boots. I have bought them back when I was in Croatia and I didn't wear them as much as I thought during the trip. I even thought that maybe it wasn't such a good idea to have bought them. However, since the winter started in Buenos Aires I wore them non stop! I love the brown color and I'm happy I didn't pick the typical yellow Timberland boots because I feel like these ones are easier to style. I wear them with everything! 

Last but not the least, I want to include my Mia Astral 2017 planner. I know we are already in August and it's kind of weird to mention a yearly planner as my favorite of the month but the truth is I was using this planner during the last months and It has helped me tons to get organized with my new life. Another thing I love about this planner is that it includes all the main astrological aspects for every day, moon phases and all that kind of stuff which is great for an astrology lover like me :) 
Also, it has some spaces to complete how are you feeling today, what are you grateful for, what are your intentions for every new moon and so on. I feel like it's a very important tool to take a few moments every day to think about this stuff and not just about everything you need to do.

Givenchy Ange ou Demon Le Secret

Hace un mes que estaba buscando un nuevo perfume, desde que se me terminó el Miss Dior pero no estaba muy segura si volver a comprármelo o cambiarlo. Estuve usando el Miss Dior por el último año y, a pesar de que me gusta muchísimo esta fragancia me pareció que era un buen momento para aprovechar y probar un nuevo perfume. 
Los perfumes siempre suelen estar asociados a estados de ánimo y sensaciones pero, en mi caso, yo los asocio a diferentes etapas de mi vida debido a que suelo usar el mismo perfume durante un periodo de tiempo determinado. De manera que, empecé a sentir que "el periodo Miss Dior" ya estaba llegando a su fin pero todavía no estaba segura de con qué tipo de fragancia quería seguir.
Así que la semana pasada fui a Falabella a buscar el perfume perfecto con la mente totalmente abierta a las posibilidades. Tuve mucha suerte que me atendiera una vendedora muy amable que comenzó a mostrarme los perfumes de Givenchy y que me ayudó muchísimo con la decisión. Ella me mostró Ange ou Demon y en seguida sentí que había capturado mi esencia, era exactamente lo que estaba buscando. Esta fragancia es dulce, fresca, ligera pero aún así tiene presencia. Me da una sensación de verano, juventud e inocencia. Así que estoy muy contenta de haber descubierto esta hermosa fragancia y estoy muy entusiasmada por empezar a usarla! Qué fragancias les encantan en este momento? Les pasa como a mí que usan un mismo perfume o suelen ir alternando entre varios distintos? Me encantaría que me contaran :)

I have been looking for a new perfume for the last month since I ran out of my Miss Dior and I wasn't exactly sure whether to continue using this fragance or change it. I was using Miss Dior for the past year and even though I really like this perfume I thought it was a good opportunity to change it and try a new one. Perfumes are always associated with different moods and sensations and, in my case, I tend to associate fragances with periods of my life because I normally use the same perfume for a certain period of time. So, I kind of felt "the Miss Dior period" was coming to an end but wasn't exactly sure what to look for. 
Therefore, last week I went to Falabella to search for the perfect perfume with my mind wide open to the possibilities. I was very lucky to have a lovely sales woman who started showing me a lot of perfumes from Givenchy and who helped me a lot with the decision. She showed me Ange ou Demon Le Secret which I felt totally captured my essence, it was exactly what I was looking for. This fragance is sweet, fresh, light but it has a presence. It makes me think about summer, youth and innocence. So, I'm very happy to have discovered this beautiful fragance and I'm looking forward to wear it a lot! What fragances are you loving right now? Do you use just one like me or do you alternate between different perfumes? I would love to know :)

Dior New Purchases

Soy bastante adicta a los productos de Dior, todos los que me conocen pueden dar fe de eso, pero hace bastante tiempo que no me compraba nada ya que estuve muy ocupada estos días. Pero tuve la chance de comprar estas dos cosas nuevas. Primero, finalmente me decidí a comprar un perfume nuevo así que elegí el Miss Dior y estoy muy contenta con la elección ya que tiene un aroma riquísimo y dura mucho tiempo en la piel.
La segunda adquisición es la mousse de limpieza Dior Mousse Pureté Nettoyante, que me recomendó la esteticista de Dior. Como expliqué en mi post anterior sobre mi rutina diaria, solía limpiar mi piel todas las mañanas con el desmaquillante pero como a la mañana no tengo ningún maquillaje puesto, éste no era el producto indicado.
Aunque este producto es un poco más caro realmente es una buena inversión porque la piel queda perfectamente limpia y fresca y, además logra limpiar todo perfectamente con una muy pequeña cantidad de producto por lo que es muy duradero.

I am a Dior addict, everyone who knows me is aware of that but lately it has been a while since I wasn't buying anything. I have been very busy these days. But I had the chance to buy these new things. First of all, I finally decided to get a new perfume so I chose Miss Dior and I am very happy with this decision since it really has a nice smell and it last a long time on the skin.
The second adquisition is the Dior Mousse Pureté Nettoyante, which is a very good foaming cleanser and was recommended for me by the Dior beautician. As I have explained in my previous post about my everyday rutine, I used to clean my skin every morning with a different product, a make up remover but as I don't have any make up in the morning this wasn't the right product.
Even if this product is a little bit more expensive it really is a good investment since the skin is perfectly clean and fresh and also cleans everything perfectly with a very small amount of product.

Decisions, decisions

Respecto de los perfumes se suele recomendar usar distintas fragancias de acuerdo a distintos factores como por ejemplo nuestro estado de ánimo, momento del día y la estación del año. 
En lo personal, a mi me gustaba la idea de usar un mismo perfume y que las personas asocien ese aroma conmigo. Luego de haber usado el Nina Ricci durante varios años ya que desde el momento que lo descubrí no pude dejar de usarlo, ahora que se me terminó estoy en la duda de si seguir usando esta fragancia o cambiarla por otra. Creo que quizás si queremos seguir logrando el efecto de que una persona sienta un determinado perfume y lo asocie con nosotros lo que se podría hacer es tener un perfume que sea nuestro aroma predilecto pero ir cambiándolo en determinadas ocasiones para no aburrirnos.
Las opciones que tengo en mente son las siguientes, la verdad que me está costando bastante decidirme respecto a este tema, así que acepto y aprecio comentarios y sugerencias respecto de estos perfumes.

In regards to perfume, it is recommended to use different fragances depending on diverse circumstances, for example, our mood, the time of the day and the season. 
Personally, I like the idea of using one perfume and that the people around me associate this fragence with me. After using Nina Ricci for several years because from the moment I discovered it I couldn't stop using it, but now that the bottle is almost empty I'm in doubt of whether continue using this fragance or changing it for another one. I think that if we want to keep getting the effect that when a person smells a determined perfume and associate it with us what we can do is to have one fragance that we use the most but we can change every one in a while so that we don't get bored.
The options I have in mind are the following, the thruth is that is taking me a lot to decide in this subject so I acept and appreciate any comments or suggestions on these options.
