Advent Calendars Wishlist

Advent calendars are something relatively new to me since it's not common in Argentina, the country where I come from. There is not an Advent tradition there so I never thought about buying an Advent calendar until I moved to Croatia. 

I feel like it's such a nice and special way to get ready for Christmas and it makes the holiday season so much better because it's not only one day but a whole month that you celebrate and receive little present until Christmas day. 

Advent calendars come in all shapes and forms, you have the traditional chocolate ones, the makeup, and skincare ones, which are definitely my favorites, but you can also find tea advent calendars and also gin and tonic ones. There is one option perfect for everyone and I think that is why they are so popular.

I think in these uncertain times in which we are not sure how the holiday season is going to be like, having a little ritual that gives us comfort and a bit of happiness every day sounds like a great idea. Therefore, I wanted to put up this wishlist with the Advent calendar I would like to shop this season. 

High end

The Dior Beauty Advent Calendar has to be my ultimate advent calendar dream, not only because I love Dior beauty products but also because the design of this calendar is absolutely dreamy and stunning. It's like an actual piece of art!

The Net-a-Porter 25 day Beauty Advent Calendar is the perfect option for the luxury skincare lover. This one has a very elegant and sleek design in black and white which looks really chic.

More affordable

L'Occitane is one of those Advent calendar classics that we wait for it every year. This 2020 Signature Advent Calendar has a great selection of products, and it has a good price point but they also have a luxury version which is a little bit more expensive, so it great they offer different options for every budget.

The Douglas Advent Calendar has a very cute and simple design but it really caught my attention, I like the around the world theme and I also think it includes a good selection of different brands and beauty products, so it's a great option if you would like to try more than one brand. 

The Revolution Advent Calendar is without a doubt an excellent option for the makeup fanatics because it includes some great makeup goodies from the brand at a very affordable price. This is another one that I'm seriously considering getting because I think it offers great value for the money.

Favourite Nail Polish Shades for Winter

A medida que los días comienzan a enfriarse en Buenos Aires (la semana pasada hizo tanto frío que ya empecé a usar mi tapado y mi bufanda), los colores de mis esmaltes de uñas también empiezan a volverse más oscuros y profundos. No se bien por qué, pero me resulta muy glamoroso llevar un esmalte de color bien oscuro en estos días fríos, como un marrón oscuro o un violeta que se vea casi negro. Me parece que combinan mucho mejor con el tono y el estado de animo de mi guardarropa de invierno. Asímismo, otro color que me encanta usar durante esta temporada es el bordeaux, me parece que es un tono que siempre se ve impecable! Así que para el post del día de hoy, les quería compartir mis tres tonos de esmalte preferidos para el invierno. Estos son los esmaltes que uso continuamente en esta temporada porque me parece que tienen unos tonos hermosos, muy chic y que van perfecto con mi paleta de colores de invierno. As the days start to get colder here in Buenos Aires (last week was so cold, I already started to wear my coat and scarf) my nail polish shades start to get darker as well. I don't know exactly why, but there is something extra glamorous about wearing a deep shade for these cold days, like dark brown or dark purple, they just match better with the mood and the tone of my winter wardrobe. Also, another shade that I love to wear during this season is bordeaux, I think it always looks perfect! So for today's post, I would like to share with you, my 3 favourite nail polish shades for winter. These are the nail polish I continuously wear throughout the season because I think they are gorgeous, chic and really go well with every colour of my winter palette. My Beauty Wishlist

I just realised that I'm always creating wishlists for a lot of different things, shoes, bags, coats, jackets, and any other piece of clothing possible. I do this because I have so much fun browsing through the different web stores to see what they have but also because it helps me a lot to define the pieces that I really love and need so that I can organise my next purchases better.
However, I noticed that I have never created a wishlist of the different beauty products that I'm currently craving about so I thought it would be a great idea to do one and share it in a blog post with you! So let's get down to it:

1- Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer

Currently, I don't have any good foundation in my make up kit and I have started to get obsessed with this product after I saw Tamara Kalinic from the blog Glam and Glitter recommend it and I think that we have a very similar skin tone so I really feel that if it works for her it should look good on my skin as well. Also, I have never tried a Clinique product before and I would really love to try this one. I love all kind of products that are multipurpose like this, which is a foundation and concealer at the same time. I think that's pretty practical and convenient.

2- Kiehl's Skin Tone Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream

I have tried this product last December at the Kiehl's store in Buenos Aires and I really loved it! I think it looks very natural and makes my skin look great and healthy. Also, this product has SPF 50 which I consider as a major plus because I always like to be protected from the sun. So I would really love to buy this product once I finish with my beloved Hydra Life BB Cream from Dior.

3- Dior Lip Sugar Scrub Sweet Exfoliating Balm

I currently don't have any product to exfoliate my lips and I really think that Dior has had an amazing idea with this sugar exfoliating balm. It looks so tempting and at the same time practical, I'm really dying to try it! 

4- EcoTools Brush Set

I have seen this brush set when I was in Buenos Aires and now here in Croatia, I have seen it again! I don't know about you but I really think it's a sign of the universe that I should buy it :P I think this set has the basic and most useful makeup brushes and I love that they are eco-friendly. So I will let you know if I end up buying them ;)

5- Max Factor Glossfinity Nail Polish in the shade Candy Rose

Whenever I buy nail polish I don't know why but my eyes always are attracted by very similar colours. Most of the times are red, coral and burgundy shades. I guess I'm a very classic kind of girl when it comes to nail polishes but this tone from Max Factor has really caught my attention. It's still quite classic but it's a bit different from the colours I normally wear so I'm not so sure if it would look good in my hands but I guess I could give it a try!

Christmas Gifts + My Outfit

Hola a todos! Espero que hayan pasado una Navidad maravillosa y que hayan recibido mucho amor y regalos! En mi caso, esta Navidad no recibí tantos regalos pero los que tuve fueron muy buenos! Así que les quiero compartir mis regalos en este post: En primer lugar, mis papás me regalaron esta hermosa cartera de XL que me gustó muchísimo ya que el color es súper femenino y clásico y además las tachas le dan un toque juvenil y divertido así que tiene una combinación perfecta! Al mismo tiempo, esta cartera tiene una clara inspiración en Valentino lo cual es genial para mi porque de momento estoy un poco lejos de una cartera de Valentino :P

Hello everyone! I hope you had the most wonderful Christmas and had received a lot of love and presents! In my particular case, for this Christmas I didn't receive as many presents but I did received very good ones! So I want to share the gifts I received with you: First of all, my parents gave me this lovely bag from XL, which I really really love because the color is so classic and feminine and also the studs give this bag a touch of youthness and fun so it has a perfect combination! It also has a very clear Valentino inspiration which is great for me because I'm a little far from a real Valentino at the moment :P

Luego, mi hermano me regaló esta remera de Montagne que está muy buena porque, aunque normalmente no suelo usar amarillo, este tono me parece muy lindo y es un color ideal para el verano.

Then, my brother gave me this T-shirt from Montagne which is very cool because I don't normally wear yellow but I think this shade of yellow is really nice and it's perfect for summer.

Por último pero no menos importante, me autoregalé algo, que es una costumbre que tengo todos los años y esta vez me compré la BB Cream Hydralife de Dior ya que es como mi máximo básico de belleza y maquillaje así que como se me estaba terminando era el momento perfecto para reponerla! Qué recibieron ustedes para Navidad? Me encantaría saber!!

Last but not the least, I bought something for myself, which I do every year, and this time I bought Dior's Hydralife BB Cream, because it's my ultimate skincare/make up basic and I was running out of it so it was the perfect time to get a new one! What did you get for Christimas? I would love to know!!

My Trip's Beauty Nécessaire

Como les comenté en mi post anterior, cada vez me falta menos para mi viaje a Europa así que en esta ocasión, les quería compartir lo que ya estoy guardando en mi nécessaire. Estas son las primeras cosas que puse,todavía me falta terminar pero como tengo tiempo, acepto cualquier sugerencia que tengan de cosas que deba agregar :)

As I said in my previous post, I'm getting closer to the date of my trip to Europe and in this case I wanted to share with you the things I am packing for my beauty nécessaire. These are the first things I packed and I still have to finish but I have time, so I accept any suggestions you may have :)

Este es mi nécessaire de Rip Curl que me encanta porque tiene mucho espacio y me permite guardar todas las cosas que necesito. / This is my nécessaire from Rip Curl, I love it becuase it has a lot of space and I can pack all the things I need in it.

Toallitas quitaesmalte que me resultan mucho más prácticas y cómodas que llevar el quitaesmalte líquido y algodón. / Nail polish removing pads, which I find much more practical than the liquid nail polish remover. 

Agua micelar que me encanta porque no solo quita el maquillaje, limpia la piel sino que también la humecta, así que llevo un solo producto para varias funciones de mi ruina facial/ Micelar water, which I love because not only removes make up and cleans the skin but also is very hydrating, so I can use only one product for several tasks of my skin care routine.

Sérum para el pelo en tamaño de viaje, todavía no lo usé pero ya me convenció el hecho de que venga en una versión para llevar de viaje. Muy práctico! / Travel size hair serum, I haven't tried yet but I love that they offer a travel size version of this product. Very practical!

Muestras de cremas, sérum y base de Dior, siempre que compro algo en la perfumería mi vendedora de Dior me regala algunas muestras de nuevos productos y son muy útiles para llevar en los viajes / Sample size products, I have these sérum and foundation samples from Dior that my sales lady offers me to try whenever I buy something and they are very practical to take with me on trips.

Paleta de maquillajes: esta paleta de Dior me encanta ya que tiene 3 tonos de sombras muy lindos y que se adaptan a cualquier ocasión, además de tener dos opciones de brillo labial. / Make up Palette: I love this palette from Dior because it has 3 beautiful eyeshadow tones that are very easy to wear for any occasion and it also has 2 tones of limp balm.

New In: Dior Vernis

La semana pasada fui a un evento en mi perfumería favorita, estuvo muy lindo, había bebidas y sándwiches, promociones y varios sorteos (aclaro que fiel a mi costumbre no gané nada jajaj). Justo tenía que comprar el Miss Dior que se me estaba terminando pero ya que estaba aproveché para comprarme este hermoso esmalte. Me enamoré del color, es tan elegante y clásico, especial para esta época de invierno, así que me parece que fue una buena inversión, no?

Last week I went to an event in my favourite perfume shop, it was very nice, there were some drinks and sandwiches, special promotions and toss ups. I needed to buy my Miss Dior perfume because I was running out of it but I took the chance to also buy this beautiful nail polish. I felt in love with this color, it's so elegant and classic, perfect for my winter season, so I think it was a good investment, don't you think?

Everyday Make Up Essentials

Para todos los días uso una rutina muy simple y básica de maquillaje. Me gusta maquillarme de manera prolija pero siempre muy natural así que después de haber probado distintos productos logré armarme esta pequeña rutina de 4 rápidos pasos:

1- Corrector: para mi es el paso más importante para lograr vernos bien, ya que lo uso para cubrir las ojeras y algunas marcas de acné. Actualmente estoy usando el corrector Diorskin Nude Concealer.

2- BB Cream: Me encanta usar la BB Cream para todos los días ya que empareja mucho el tono de la piel y mantiene el look muy natural. Otra cosa que me encanta es que la mayoría de las BB Creams vienen también con protector solar lo que es muy importante para mantener la piel sana y joven. La BB cream que uso es la de Dior Hydra Life.

3- Sombra: Para todos los días siempre me pongo una sombra color nude porque como mencioné me encanta que todo el maquillaje se vea natural pero también porque logra que los ojos se vean más iluminados y descansados.La sombra que estoy usando es la Diorshow Mono Nude Eyeshadow.

4- Máscara: este es un paso clave ya que la máscara de pestañas ayuda a abrir la mirada y también colabora para crear ese look fresco y descansado. La máscara siempre va a llevar la atención hacia los ojos. Hace poco comencé a usar la máscara Grow Luscious de Revlon y estoy muy contenta con los resultados ya que mis pestañas se ven geniales y las acondiciona mucho, lo que ayuda a que no pierda tantas pestañas cada vez que me retiro el maquillaje.
  For my everyday life I use a very simple and basic make up routine. I like my make up to look very polished but also to look very natural so after trying different things I managed to create this routine with 4 quick steps:
1- Concealer: this is for me the most important step in order to look good, I use it to cover the dark circles in my eyes and acne spots. I am currently using Diorskin Nude Concealer.

2- BB Cream: I love using a BB cream for my everyday routine since it evens the skin tone and keeps the look very natural. Another thing that I love is that most of BB creams have also sunscreen which is really important to protect the skin. I use Dior Hydra Life BB Cream.

3- Eyeshadow: For my everyday look I always use a nude eyeshadow because as I said before it keeps your look natural but it also helps to make the eyes look brighter and rested. For my eyeshadow I'm using Diorshow Mono Nude Eyeshadow.

4- Mascara: this is a key step to finish my make up because mascara opens your eye and also helps to look rested and fresh. The mascara will always draw the attention to our eyes. I started using Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara and I'm very happy with the results because my lashes look great and they are moisturized so I'm not loosing a lot of lashes when I take the mascara out.

Dior New Purchases

Soy bastante adicta a los productos de Dior, todos los que me conocen pueden dar fe de eso, pero hace bastante tiempo que no me compraba nada ya que estuve muy ocupada estos días. Pero tuve la chance de comprar estas dos cosas nuevas. Primero, finalmente me decidí a comprar un perfume nuevo así que elegí el Miss Dior y estoy muy contenta con la elección ya que tiene un aroma riquísimo y dura mucho tiempo en la piel.
La segunda adquisición es la mousse de limpieza Dior Mousse Pureté Nettoyante, que me recomendó la esteticista de Dior. Como expliqué en mi post anterior sobre mi rutina diaria, solía limpiar mi piel todas las mañanas con el desmaquillante pero como a la mañana no tengo ningún maquillaje puesto, éste no era el producto indicado.
Aunque este producto es un poco más caro realmente es una buena inversión porque la piel queda perfectamente limpia y fresca y, además logra limpiar todo perfectamente con una muy pequeña cantidad de producto por lo que es muy duradero.

I am a Dior addict, everyone who knows me is aware of that but lately it has been a while since I wasn't buying anything. I have been very busy these days. But I had the chance to buy these new things. First of all, I finally decided to get a new perfume so I chose Miss Dior and I am very happy with this decision since it really has a nice smell and it last a long time on the skin.
The second adquisition is the Dior Mousse Pureté Nettoyante, which is a very good foaming cleanser and was recommended for me by the Dior beautician. As I have explained in my previous post about my everyday rutine, I used to clean my skin every morning with a different product, a make up remover but as I don't have any make up in the morning this wasn't the right product.
Even if this product is a little bit more expensive it really is a good investment since the skin is perfectly clean and fresh and also cleans everything perfectly with a very small amount of product.

My Birthday Wishlist

Mañana es mi cumpleaños!! Así que decidí armar una pequeña lista de deseos. Cabe aclarar que no me pude resistir y ya me compré la remera  jaja! 

Tomorrow is my birthday!! So I decided to put togheter a little birthday wishlist with things I would like to get for my birthday. I couldn't resist and I already bought that t-shirt!

Lip Essentials

A pesar de que estoy mostrando muchas cosas para la temporada Primavera Verano, acá en Buenos Aires, todavía queda un poco de frío. Así que cuando los días están fríos tiendo a tener los labios secos y para luchar contra esto, uso estos dos muy buenos productos.
En primer lugar, uso Lip Medex todas las noches para que se regenere la piel de los labios. Este producto tiene un efecto frío por lo que no está tan bueno para usar en los días de frío.
Y por las mañanas uso mi Dior Lip Glow, me encanta este bálsamo para labios porque agrega un poco de color y de brillo pero tiene un efecto muy natural. No me gusta usar mucho color para mi maquillaje diario así que este es un producto perfecto para mi.

Even though I'm showing a lot of things for Spring Summer, here in Buenos Aires there is still a little bit of cold. So when the days are cold my lips tend to get dry and to fight against this I use two good products.
In first place, I use Lip Medex every night in order to get my lips regenerated. This has a cool effect so it is not so good to use during the day, especially when the weather is cold.
And in the mornings, I use my Dior Lip Glow. I love this lip balm because it adds a littble bit of color and of glow but it has a very natural effect. I really don't like to use a lot of color for my everyday make up so this product is perfect for me.
