Designers Look BA: Pablo Ramirez

El miércoles pasado pude ir al desfile de Pablo Ramírez para el Designers Look Buenos Aires y debo decir que fue increíble. Me encantaron muchas de las piezas que se pudieron ver en la pasarela (especialmente el último grupo de vestidos negros) porque eran diseños muy sofisticados y elegantes.

Last Wednesday I was able to attend to Pablo Ramirez fashion show for Designers Look Buenos Aires event and I must say that it was an incredible show. I really loved many of the pieces shown on the runway (especially the last set of black dresses) because they were very sophisticated and elegant. 

Lip Essentials

A pesar de que estoy mostrando muchas cosas para la temporada Primavera Verano, acá en Buenos Aires, todavía queda un poco de frío. Así que cuando los días están fríos tiendo a tener los labios secos y para luchar contra esto, uso estos dos muy buenos productos.
En primer lugar, uso Lip Medex todas las noches para que se regenere la piel de los labios. Este producto tiene un efecto frío por lo que no está tan bueno para usar en los días de frío.
Y por las mañanas uso mi Dior Lip Glow, me encanta este bálsamo para labios porque agrega un poco de color y de brillo pero tiene un efecto muy natural. No me gusta usar mucho color para mi maquillaje diario así que este es un producto perfecto para mi.

Even though I'm showing a lot of things for Spring Summer, here in Buenos Aires there is still a little bit of cold. So when the days are cold my lips tend to get dry and to fight against this I use two good products.
In first place, I use Lip Medex every night in order to get my lips regenerated. This has a cool effect so it is not so good to use during the day, especially when the weather is cold.
And in the mornings, I use my Dior Lip Glow. I love this lip balm because it adds a littble bit of color and of glow but it has a very natural effect. I really don't like to use a lot of color for my everyday make up so this product is perfect for me.

Argentina Fashion Week: Desfile Clarín Mujer

Conseguí una invitación al desfile de Clarín Mujer en el Argentina Fashion Week en el que la consigna fue presentar un desfile con mujeres reales, había actrices, periodistas, empresarias, entre otras en la pasarela mostrando las prendas de las marcas sponsors del evento.
Me gustó la idea de armar un desfile con mujeres que no fueran modelos y, a pesar de que no pude tener la mejor ubicación para sacar fotos me gustaría compartir algunas con ustedes.

I got an invitation for the Clarín Mujer fashion show on Argentina Fashion Week. They presented a show with real women, there were actresses, journalists, business women on the runway showing different pieces from the soponsor brands of this event.
I liked the idea of creating a fashion show with real women on the runway and even though I wasn't in the best position to take pictures I would like to share some of them with you.

Hay un par de carteras clásicas que todas nosotras soñamos con tener. Estas carteras se hicieron famosas y deseadas por sus diseños, sus materiales, su historia o por lo que representan.

Esta cartera fue creada por Coco Chanel con el propósito de liberar sus manos de andar cargando constantemente con su bolso en los brazos. Este tipo de cartera es perfecta para llevar a los cocktails ya que, al colgarla en el hombro podremos tener siempre las manos libres para poder beber y comer.

This bag was created by Coco Chanel with the purpose of getting her hands free from carrying her purse in her arms. This type of bag is the perfect one for a cocktail because we can just use it on our shoulder and have our hands free and available to grab drinks.

Este es el modelo más visto de Louis Vuitton porque es clásico y está disponible en tres tamaños diferentes. Por otro lado, los famosos símbolos de Louis Vuitton fueron creados en 1896 inspirados en los diseños japoneses que estaban de moda en la era victoriana.

This is the most seen Louis Vuitton bag model because it's classic and it's available in three different sizes.On the other hand, the Louis Vuitton symbols were created on 1896 inspired by the japanese designes that were very used in the victorian era.

Hermès Birkin

Esta es la cartera más deseada del mundo y su origen tiene una muy buena historia. Este modelo obtuvo su nombre gracias a la actriz y cantante Jane Birkin. Ella estaba viajando en avión al lado del presidente de Hermès y accidentalmente dejó caer todas las cosas de su cartera. Entonces el presidente de Hermès le ofreció diseñar una cartera que fuera a su medida y así surgió este mítico modelo.

This is the most desired bag in the world and its origin has a very good story. This model was named after the actress and singer Jane Birkin. She was travelling on an airplane with Hermès company president and she accidentally drop off the things in her bag. So Hermès president offer her to design a bag just for her and that's how it all began.
