New Video: Re-Creating Outfits from Instagram

Today it's time for a new video!! I came across this video idea thanks to one of my friends Florencia, who is one of my biggest supporters because I remember one day I was sharing some outfits from my favorite bloggers with her, telling her I would love to dress like that and she replied: You can totally re-create that outfit!

So I decided to accept that challenge and tried to re-create 3 different outfits from some of my favorite bloggers: @tamara, @inthefrow, and @modeison_ with items I already have in my wardrobe.

I had a lot of fun filming this video and going through my clothes in order to replicate these looks as similar as possible! The idea is that some of our favorite outfits are based on basic pieces that we can already find in our own closet. So the trick is identifying the key pieces on each look and try to look for those characteristics in your clothes.

So, let's see how this worked! ;)

I really hope you liked the video and this kind of post! I had a lot of fun doing it as I said! Don't forget to check out my Youtube channel if you haven't already and please let me know which outfit was your favorite?  :)

Exploring the Colorful Rovinj

Rovinj Croatia Travel Guide

I think I have already mentioned this in a previous post, where I talk about my trip to Pula, but one of the things I love the most about Istria region is that it has a very particular mix between Croatian and Italian culture, which makes it super interesting to visit.
Each city in this region will have this characteristic, you will feel like you are being part of two countries at the same time and you will find this Italian influence in the architecture, in the road signs and, of course, in the food as well. So, if you are also looking to enjoy a delightful culinary experience this is definitely a region to consider for your trip.

In my particular case, I have decided to go back to Istria because I was very impressed with what I have seen in Pula, that stunning Roman architecture stole my heart and I was looking forward to discovering more of this region, especially a city which I have seen all over Instagram: Rovinj.

The pictures I saw of Rovinj reminded me a lot of Venice for some reason and when I was finally able to visit this city that impression was even stronger! Rovinj is a city full of colors, full of details and full of incredibly enchanting streets perfect to get lost. The Old Town is practically right by the sea so maybe this was what made me think of Venice, even though it doesn't have canals, the water is very present in this city.

I have decided to do a day trip to Rovinj because I was staying in Rijeka, so I took the bus and in around two hours I was right there! The bus station in Rovinj is very close to the Old Town so I just walked by the coast and found it without any problems. I have to confess that I didn't have much information about what to see and do in the city but sometimes I enjoy doing this kind of trips because in this way I can be surprised by the destination. And this is exactly what happened to me with Rovinj, without even looking for them, I was able to find all the main spots and I also enjoyed getting lost in its streets.

Firstly, I walked by the coast which is very nice because it's full of pretty restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious meal and also the lovely view of the Adriatic sea and the boats peacefully moving in the water. Then, I was able to find the city's open market, the perfect place to buy fresh fruits, some souvenirs, and many other things. I stopped right here to have lunch and, as I was in Istria, I decided to order a pizza, which was just perfect!

After lunch, I continued walking into the old town and I fell in love with all the beautiful balconies with flowers I was seeing in every single house. Also, I was able to find that cute little spot by the water that I used to see all the time on Instagram. I wished I would have been able to get a picture of myself sitting at that lovely table but there was a lady there, I think she was the owner of the store, and she was enjoying a coffee so I didn't want to disturb her.

I continued my way up to find the Church of St. Euphemia, which has that tall tower you can see in all the pictures of the Old Town. The Church looked lovely and it's totally worth the visit. Also, you can get a very nice sea view from there because this part is a little bit higher than the rest of the city.

Then I was able to find a few beaches, where there were people swimming and enjoying the sea. I didn't have a swim because I didn't have my towel that day, so I skipped the beach but I don't regret it because it allowed me to have more time to explore the city. I walked a little bit more on the seaside and I found more beautiful cafés and restaurants right by the water, which looked like the perfect place to have some drinks and enjoy the sunset view.

Around 7 pm I had to go back to Rijeka but I was extremely happy that I was able to visit this incredibly beautiful city! You can see in this post that I went a bit mad and I took a lot of pictures because there were so many lovely details that I just couldn't stop!
I hope you have enjoyed reading about my day trip to Rovinj and I hope you have found some inspiration for your future trips! I'm sure this would be a lovely place to visit during the Spring months, don't you think?

My First Steps into Korean Beauty: Klairs Products Review

Klairs Product Review

A few months ago, I have started hearing a lot about Korean Beauty and I was completely intrigued by it. So many bloggers were saying wonderful things about some particular products from Korean brands that I was really looking forward to learning more about this skincare system and perhaps trying one of their products.
The truth is I was seeing this as something difficult to me because you can't get any Korean products here in Argentina but I was super lucky and I got an email from the lovely people at Wishtrend, a major Korean Beauty online store, to test some of their products! You can't imagine how excited I was with this email because I was going to see with my own eyes if all this hype around K-Beauty products was true!

Klairs Product Review 2

Once I have accepted this collaboration, I decided to do some more research about the Korean Skincare routine, just to have a little bit more information about how I would incorporate the new products to my normal skincare routine and also to see if I needed to make some adjustments to the steps I was doing at the moment.
Anyway, I have received two amazing products from a Korean brand named Klairs, which were exactly what my skin was needing at the moment. As far as I know, this brand only works with natural ingredients and is vegan-friendly, which is always a plus.

Klair Rich Moist Soothing Serum

The first product I received is Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Serum and this is a very gentle and aqueous serum which helps to hydrate and replenish moisture in the skin. This product has a very light and watery texture, it feels very nice on the skin and it absorbs very quickly. It's not sticky at all and it's very easy to apply. I normally use just two pumps of the product for my entire face. I have been using it every morning and night for the last month and I really enjoy applying it to my skin. Once I finish, my skin feels super smooth and hydrated so I consider that this serum totally does what it promises.
Another positive aspect of this product is that it contains a very good amount, it's a bottle of 80ml and you just need to apply 1-2 pumps to cover your face so I think it will last a good time.

I have also received Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop which is a Vitamin C concentrate and I have to say that this is the product that has surprised me the most! It was my first time using any product with Vitamin C and I have seen the greatest difference once I have started using it.
Apart from pure Vitamin C essence, this product also contains Centella Asiatica, Yuzu, and Grapefruit extracts, as well as L-Ascorbic Acid, which help to stimulate collagen production and they also help to improve skin tone and texture without harsh irritation.
It's indicated to use 1-2 drops of this product in the morning and evening but I have been using it just in the evenings.

Klair Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

As this was my first time using a Vitamin C extract I wasn't very sure about how to incorporate this product into my skincare routine. Even though the Wishtrend site has a lot of information about each product, it would be nice if they include more information about how to use them in a particular routine, in which order it would be better to use each product because I was a little bit lost about this one.
Anyway, I ended up applying the Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop right after the toner and before the serum and it worked perfectly!
This product is also watery and very easy to apply as well. I have been using 2 drops and it's more than enough for my face and neck. Right after I apply it, I just notice my skin to be a little more bright and luminous but I think this product works its magic overnight because I see a lot of improvements when I was up, but let's talk about this more in depth.

How my skin has improved by using these two products?

1) My skin looks brighter and more luminous
This was one of the most noticeable improvements I saw on my skin once I have started using these products. My skin tone was more even and brighter than ever! Every morning, when I wake up my skin has a healthy, natural glow and it looks more luminous. That's why I say that these products work their magic overnight.

2) The texture of my skin is softer and smoother
When I touch my face I feel it incredibly soft and it's also a lot smoother than before. After just one month of using both products, I can see a difference in this aspect as well and I feel very satisfied with it.

3) My acne was reduced a lot
This was the most important improvement I have noticed after I started applying both products. I had a few pimples the day I received the package at home and after just one use of the Vitamin C extract and 2 uses of the serum, I saw those pimples looking a lot better the next day! Also, in all of this month using the Klairs products I didn't have as many pimples as before and if I had any it wasn't as bad as it used to be. So, here I see I huge difference and I could also add that all the acne scars and pigmentation marks are looking a lot better too.

So these were my thoughts about my first experience trying Korean Beauty products and I have to say that it was a very positive one. I feel like this kind of products and skincare routine suits me very well, so I would definitely recommend these two products as they have shown amazing results on my skin. I hope you find this review helpful and in case you are interested in trying some of their products I would recommend checking out these two-product sets Wishtrend is offering only during this month, with a special 5% off!

How to Deal with Post Holiday Blues

The beginning of March means, here in Argentina, the end of the vacations period along with the end of Summer. The children go back to school at this time of the year, the city gets crowded again because all the people are back from their trips and everything goes back to normal.
Going back to real life after an exciting time traveling to somewhere different can be a hard time. We tend to get a little sad to go back to our normal routines, to go back to the office or university, and especially, to go back to responsibilities and obligations. It seems like all the fun and excitement in our lives is gone, but it doesn't have to be that way! So, regardless of whether you are coming back from your holidays or just from a weekend getaway, I would like to share with you my 3 tips on how to deal better with post-vacation blues.

Let's start!

1- Accept the present situation and be thankful for the experience

The first step once you come back from your trip is to accept the present situation. Your vacation is over and you are now home again. It may sound a little bit though but no matter how much we would wish to go back to that dreamy beach we were some days ago, we can't go back in time. We have to accept that now it's the time to go back to our normal life and be thankful that we were able to spend some amazing days traveling, exploring a new place, relaxing and enjoying. Being thankful is something that will always raise your vibration and change your mindset from negativity to positivity very easily and quickly. So, I strongly recommend you to take a moment to thank for those good times you have spent and for all those amazing experiences you had.

2- Appreciate the good things about being back home

This is another easy technique to shift your mindset from negativity: Show appreciation and focus on the positive side of things. I'm sure there are a lot of good things about being home again, for example: sleeping in your own bed again, being close to your family and friends, being able to choose any piece from your entire closet, instead of just wearing what was on your suitcase, etc. ;)
Anything you can think of will help you to feel better about being back.

3- Look for new activities to keep the motivation up even when you are not traveling

Look for something exciting to do that will help you lift up your energy and motivation. That way you won't feel like all the fun and excitement was left in that city or that island you were visiting. Learn something new, try a new workout routine, go dancing lessons, go to a new restaurant or coffee place, etc. All of these activities will make you feel like yes, there are fun things to do in your city and some excitement in your life, even when you are not traveling!

And if all of that is not enough, well, maybe it's time to start planning a new trip! :P I'm kidding, anyway, I hope you find this post useful and please let me know if it has happened to you, that it's hard to go back to normal after an exciting trip, and in case you have any more tips I would love to know them!!! :)
