Hair Review: Macadamia Natural Oil

Hace tiempo que quería probar los productos de esta marca porque son libres de sulfatos y de parabenos y, además contienen aceite de macadamia que ya me había dado buenos resultados en el pasado. Decidí probar el Rejuvenating Shampoo y el Moisturizing Rinse de Macadamia Natural Oil ya que después de teñirme noté mi cabello mucho más seco y necesitaba hidratarlo de nuevo.
El shampoo es muy ligero y tiene un perfume muy suave, casi imperceptible. Limpia el cabello apropiadamente sin ser agresivo. Luego, el acondicionador hidrata y deja mi cabello suave y brillante.
Lo único que no me gustó tanto es que mi pelo no queda tan manejable y prolijo, como me suele pasar con los productos hidratantes. Por lo general, me hidratan el cabello pero no me ayudan a dejarlo liso y manejable. Por este motivo, me gusta intercalar los distintos productos para el pelo, para que pueda estar hidratado y nutrido.

It's been a while since I wanted to try the products of this brand because they are sulfate-free and paraben-free and they have macadamia oil which has had some good results in my hair in the past. I decided to try the Rejuvenating Shampoo and the Moisturizing Rinse now because since I dyed my hair it got really dry and I needed to hydrate my hair again.
The shampoo is very light and it has a very soft scent. It cleans the hair properly but without being too agresive on it. Then the Moisturizing Rinse hydrates and leaves my hair soft and shining. 
The only thing that I didn't like that much is that my hair is not so controllable and neat, but this always happens to my hair with the moisturizing products, they hydrate my hair but they don't help that much in leaving it more straight and controllable.That's why I like to change my hair products periodically in order to keep it hydrated and healthy.

Hair Review: Schwarzkopf Oil Miracle Shampoo

Es hora de un nuevo Hair Review! Como expliqué anteriormente, me gustó la idea de tener esta sección en el blog debido a que me encanta probarme distintos productos para el pelo. Tengo mucha cantidad de pelo y también mucho volumen por lo que usualmente busco productos para el pelo que contengan aceite para que me ayuden a tener el cabello más liso y a prevenir el frizz.
Últimamente, estaba usando el shampoo y acondicionador con aceite de argán de Black Diamond pero después de haberlos usado por un tiempo mi pelo comenzó a verse más rebelde y difícil de controlar. Además, me gusta alternar distintos productos para que mi cabello no se acostumbre a uno solo. Esta fue la razón por la cual me decidí a probar el shampoo Oil Miracle de Schwarzkopf que es bastante parecido al de Black Diamond ya que ambos tienen el componente de aceite.
Los pros de este shampoo son que también tiene las propiedades positivas del aceite de argán, tiene un perfume muy rico y suave y, además lo siento un poco menos pesado que el de Black Diamond.
Mi cabello se ve brillante y tiene de nuevo menos frizz, así que para mi el shampoo de Schwarzkopf  es una muy buena opción para ir alternando con otros productos y así mantener mi pelo lindo y saludable.


It's time for a new Hair Review! As I have explained before I liked the idea of having this section on my blog because I love to try different hair products. I have a big amount of hair and also a lot of volume so I usually go for hair products with oil to make my hair smooth and to prevent frizz. 
I was using the shampoo and conditioner with argain oil from Black Diamond but after using these products for a while my hair started to be less smooth and controllable. In addition I tend to alternate shampoo so that my hair doesn't get used to a certain product. So that's why I decided to try the Oil Miracle Shampoo from Schwarzkopf which is similar to the one from Black Diamond because both have the oil component. 
The pros of this shampoo are that it still has the good properties of argan oil, it has a really nice and soft scent and I feel it a little bit less heavy than the one from Black Diamond. 
My hair is shinning and it has again less frizz, so for me the Schwarzkopf shampoo is a very good option to alternate with other products and keep my hair healthy and looking good.

Hair Review: Schwarzkopf Smooth Shine Shampoo and Moisture Kick Treatment

Este mes hubo una promoción muy interesante en Las Margaritas, para los que no la conocen es una tienda genial llena de productos de belleza, que me encanta porque venden un montón de productos profesionales. La promoción consistía en 50% de descuento en algunos de los productos de Schwarzkopf y como siempre estoy dispuesta a probar nuevos productos para el pelo, decidí comprarme algo. La vendedora me recomendó estos dos productos. En primer lugar el shampoo Smooth Shine ya que estaba buscando algo para mi cabello rebelde. Este shampoo alisa bastante el pelo pero de forma natural, sin dejarlo demasiado tieso. En mi caso, aún me quedan algunas ondas pero más prolijas y además le da un montón de brillo al cabello.
Por otro lado, el tratamiento Moisture Kick es realmente intesante ya que tiene una textura como de mousse y es muy ligero. Al principio, me pareció muy extraño ya que la vendedora me había dicho que tenía que usarlo antes de secarme el pelo. Sin embargo, cuando leí las instrucciones decía que se necesitaba enjuagarlo después de 5 minutos. De manera que no estaba muy convencida cuando lo utilicé la primera vez porque el cabello me había quedado como pesado y medio pegajoso. Pero continué usándolo y mejoraron los resultados. Creo que la primera vez que lo usé había aplicado mucha cantidad del producto pero justo ayer lo volví a usar, con menos cantidad y mi pelo quedó increíble, hidratado y suave. Los productos de Schwarzkopf son un poco caros, pero cuando tenemos este tipo de promociones es una buena oportunidad para comprarlos.

This month there was a very interesting promotion in Las Margaritas, a great store full of beauty products which I love because it has a lot of professional products. There was 50% discount on some of Schwarzkopf hair products and since I am always willing to try on new things for my hair, I decided to buy something. The sales person recomended these two products for me. First, the Smooth Shine Shampoo, because I was looking for something for my rebel hair. This shampoo does smooth a lot the hair but in a very natural way. It doesn't straighten the hair too much. Also it gives a lot of shine to the hair.
On the other hand, the Moisture Kick treatment is really interesting, since it has the texture of a mousse and it is very light. At the begining I found it weird because the sales person told me to use it and then dry my hair directly. However when I read the instructions it said that it was needed to wash it out after 5 minutes. So I wasn't very convinced when I first used it. I seemed that my hair was heavy and sticky. But I continued using it and I got better results, I think that the first time I applied a little too much of the product. Just yesterday I used a little bit less and my hair looked incredible, it was very moisturised and soft.
Schwarzkopf products are a bit expensive but when we have these kind of promotions is a good chance to buy them.

Hair review: BKD Caviar and Argan Elixir Oil

Para complementar el tratamiento que comencé con el shampooy acondicionador de Aceite de Argán de BKD  hace un mes más o menos compré este aceite, ya que si bien estos productos me dieron muy buenos resultados aún sentía mi pelo un poco seco debido a que uso mucho el secador de pelo.

Lo que me gustó mucho de este producto es que tiene muchos usos diferentes que explica en el paquete. Personalmente yo lo uso de dos formas distintas. Todos los días luego de lavarme el cabello aplico dos gotas de este aceite y lo paso por medios y puntas. De esta forma, me ayuda a proteger el pelo del calor del secador. Una vez que ya sequé mi pelo vuelvo a aplicar una gota más del producto para mejorar el acabado. Con esto, el cabello queda mucho más suave y brillante especialmente en las puntas, también reduce el frizz y ayuda a que el pelo quede más manejable, algo que para mí es clave, ya que tengo un cabello muy rebelde.

Finalmente, el precio es un poco alto pero teniendo en cuenta que es un producto que se usa en pocas cantidades y que ofrece unos excelentes resultados, creo que la inversión vale la pena.

In order to complement the treatment I have started with the BKD Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner I bought this oil approximately a month ago, because even though these products gave me good results I still felt my hair a bit dry due to the fact that I use the hair dryer almost every day.

What I liked about this product is that it has a lot of different uses explained in the package. Personally, I use it in two different ways. Every day, after I washed my hair I use two drops of this oil and apply it on the middle to the ends of my hair. In this way, the product helps to protect my hair from the heat of the hair dryer. Once my hair is dry I apply one more drop to improve the results. With this extra step, the hair is more soft and shiny, especially on the ends. It also reduces the frizz and makes the hair more manageable, something that is key for me because I have a very wild hair.

Finally, the price is a little bit expensive but taking into account that it is a product that will be used in small amount and that offers excellent results I think that the investment is worhtwhile.

Hair Review: Olio Macadamia Shampoo

Seguramente escucharon hablar de la regla de las tres "b": bueno, bonito y barato. Si tuviera que sintetizar esta review diría que el shampoo Macadamia de Olio cumple con esas tres condiciones. Les paso a contar por qué.

Es bueno porque como todo hallazgo de Las Margaritas, es un producto de uso profesional y, además porque tiene aceite de macadamia que según lo que me dijo la vendedora es como "el nuevo aceite de argán". 
Lo que me pasó puntualmente fue que hace una semana mas o menos se me terminó mi otro shampoo de BKD (el que tenia aceite de argán) y fui desesperada a Las Margaritas a comprármelo de nuevo pero, por desgracia, no lo tenían. Le comenté mi situación a una de las vendedoras y le pedí que me recomendara un shampoo que fuera bien con el acondicionador de BKD que todavía tengo. Ahí fue cuando me sugirió el de Olio con aceite de macadamia. La verdad es que no lo lleve muy convencida y cuando lo probé en la ducha seguía sin estar 100% convencida. El shampoo es un poco raro, no es como el BKD que se siente que hidrata al momento y el pelo queda increíble ya en la ducha. Con el de Olio es como que el pelo me quedó super fino y me costaba pasar los dedos entre el pelo al momento de enjuagarlo. 
Lo increíble de esto es que, a pesar de mi falta de fé, cuando se secó el pelo me quedó bárbaro, muy suave, brillante y con  mucho menos frizz. 
En segundo lugar es un shampoo bonito, ya que, además de dejar el cabello muy bien, es de un color rosa perlado y el perfume es riquísimo. Como si todo esto fuera poco, es barato, estaba algo de 50 pesos y además con el descuento del 20% que hacen todos los miércoles en Las Margaritas es muy conveniente.
